Anyone who would like to start composting with worm's
This is the best compnay to buy the suff and worms/extra worm's from.
I have used this company and others that I know have also used them, Good reports form everyone.
Two thumbs from me.!:T:T
Thanks for the recommendation! Funnily enough, the folks on the Greenfingered board didn't seem to think worms were a good idea......I am settling down after my blood transfusion - I seem to retain fluid and then 36 hours I can wee (TMI) for England.....
I didn't need until I read this...now I'm fidgetting! :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Thanks for the comments re DW - its doing its thing as I type :]]]]]]]]
When it was listed on Freecycle [gotta love that place] it said that it wasn't cleaning, I'm not surprised, the door seals were beyond minging so out came the stardrops and the gunk vanished, hoping that has sorted it out,
Its taken a while to plumb it in cue flooding in the kitchen but a quick mop up and towel sorted that
Now to find homes for the cooking stuff that was in its place - worktops crammed with bits!!!
DH has had to come home from work ill so he's in bed
Not even had food yet - must eat something nowProjects made for craft fair - 40
1st fair on 13/4/14 :j0 -
My wife's Mum,
Dose a lot of Cake baking and icing art, decorating, For people.
Wedding cakes, birthday's that sort of thing. And all of the bits that you need use, Are very expensive !
She charges a lot for the cake's she dose, But when you look at the time that's had to go into it and the cost of all the bits, You can see why the people that do it for a living have to charge so much for the cake's,
My wife's Mum only dose it as a hobby really , And only charges just enough to cover the stuff she needs to do the cake, (She only make's them for people she know's and has done some word of mouth one's ) (Some will give her a "Drink" On top of the cost of the cake.)
I could not believe the cost of the stuff when I first found out !
Anyways, long story short, she did a cracking job, did a little border of mauve and purple flowers on the cake (my dress was lilac, so following the colour theme) and she borrowed a brooch I have with a Triquetra design on, a bit like this only slightly more ornate,
and re-created it in string, which she then sprayed silver, to use as a central decoration. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Bemuzzled - lovely to see you posting - I have been thinking of you and hubby xx
Ladyshopper - I know what you mean about sleeping for England! Hope you start to feel brighter soon xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Hi all,
Thanks for the good wishes. Have spent the morning doing not a lot. Found some faggots and peas in the freezer for dinner, and some mince, so made a chilli for tomorrow. O)H hopes to get here tonight or tomorrow too, so that will be good.:T
My DS and his fiancee are coming Saturday from Cumbria, for a week. Haven't seen them since my birthday last year, I am so looking forward to it.
I have arranged for us all including DD, SIL and DGD to have a photo session in the local photographers, so will take it slowly.

I'd be tempted with a daily email to TPTB stating paper stocks and big jobs you know coming up. With a copy to your Line Manager of course.

Have applied for another job today with the local University. Sounds good but I hate hate hate filling in the application forms. I'm trying to save as many of the personal statements as I can so I can cut and paste when appropriate.
All packed for my hols, lets hope the sun shines, I don't care as long its not pouring. Spag Bol for tea, DS 3 is just in the kitchen preparing it, it's his speciality. I know he won't starve at Uni:DStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Afternoon all
Essex girl, it's not patience, it's desperation, lol, I have a mortgage to pay!
DG, good idea.
A colleague who is also being nudged out, asked to go part time, she was refused on the basis that her job needed her to be at her desk for the entire working day, then they asked her to do some daily filing that will take her away from her desk every day! Her Dr has offered to sign her off for a couple of months.
Have a good evening everyone.
Hugs Hester

Hester I get very cross on your behalf reading of how you get treated - honestly, your employers seem to have the mentality of five-year-olds. And I'm very likely doing five-year-olds a disservice in saying that!
I need to get off my butt and do some work - I have a pizza to construct, and a loo to scrub. Which to do first.......:think:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
