yeah unfortuatlly you cant simply cancel a transfer once its gone through, as it will now be in your name.Oh great. So, just been on with Orange again. They said there's no way of cancelling a transfer. Distance selling regs don't apply because I agreed to take over an existing contract. So basically, I'm screwed. £168 out of pocket. B&*^&*DS!
the only thing you can do is transfer it back, but your boss would have to agree to that, which doesn't sound likely so you might be stuck0 -
Work agreed to cancel the transfer. I lost my number, which is a major PITA but at least I won't be paying through the nose for it! I am in the process of sorting a new phone.0
