I really need to get measured, sorry "fitted".
Last time I went to Debenhams there was no one there, and there's really nowhere else in Ayr to get fitted..."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

Ive never tried debenhams... didnt know they did it!You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....
*I have done reading too*

I gave up with M&S totally after I found they were useless, I order quite allot from Figleaves now. I find they are far better quality too and some are not that much dearer than M&S0

Well, I complained! I wrote them quite a strongly worded email, and didnt really expect much of a response... But this morning, my post came, and there was a LOVELY letter there from the manager of the m&s Id had the problem with, and included in it was a £10 gift voucher, which, I can assure you, wont be spent on bras!!You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....

Glad to hear you got it sorted.
I havent had any luck with the M&S service either, they were hopeless at measuring, I have decent sized 'assets' and when they bought me the size they thought I was you could have fit em in twice!
If the straps keep going off the shoulder what does it mean - ie. the size is too big/small or the cups are too big/small?Weight Loss - 102lb0 -

I am just subsiding from having my DS a few months ago. To give an idea, I was a 38JJ before I got pregnant:eek:
Do Rigby and Pellar have a website, and are they as good as they are supposed to be? I'm 'oop north' and it would be difficult for me to get to London.Always another chapter0 -

It means the back size is too big. If you feel your current cup fits your actual boobs then try going DOWN a back size but UP a cup or two to compensate, ie from a 36b to a 34C.
I am a size 12 but need a size 16 top if non-stretchy. I was wearing a 38D I think but bravissimo fitted me as a 34E/F. Like a previous poster has just said, I don't have big humongous boobs, I don't look like Dolly Parton: my new bras simply make me look slimmer and less lumpy, my boobs sit in the middle of my chest not in my armpits and over my ribs and my straps NEVER fall down over my shoulders0 -
I would never use M&S again for a bra fitting, not since they told me that despite losing 2.5st in weight I was exactly the same size as before. I get measured fairly regularly, and had not long been fitted before I started my weightloss journey. Not sure how they worked it out as I was wearing one of my 'old' (ie. 4 month old) bras, and to say I had plenty of room in it is an understatement!
I went to a smaller chain - Contessa (which I think has now disappeared??) - and found my true size was a back size and two cup sizes smaller than M&S had suggested.
I used to always buy my underwear at M&S, but not any more...
