I have been a member of valued opinions for about 2 years and I have not had 1 survey. I know I fit the criteria for getting plenty of surveys, I get lots from other places.
I wrote to them asking if there was some fault at all and they just came out with a load of rubbish about meeting the right criteria and filling out the profiles but for gods sake 2 years?
Everthing is full 100% apart from the mobile phone section, I have put my home phone but I didn't want to put my mobile phone number could this be the reason? That section says 95%complete, I just wanted to check before I just delete the accountThanx

Hi, I haven't put my mobile number in either and it says 95%. I've had a few surveys from Valued opinions - not many though, I get more surveys from Lightspeed than anyone else.0 -
well i've withdrawn £60 from them and they haven't said anything......yet! lol
well actually some surveys t does say please sit your child on your lap and fill this in for them.0 -
Well I've wrote to them one last time and then I'll just delete the profile no point keeping it really.
How have you got on with lightspeed? It looks like its in American dollars do they convert it to english pounds?Thanx

This is my first time posting on this thread but I am an avid MSE supported and love the site. I just wanted to ask everyones opinions about Ciao surveys. Everyone that I get I am stopped from completing the survey half way through because they already have enough people like me. I am getting really annoyed coz I spend time doing the survey and most of the time it is stopped just before the whole time the survey takes. I have been signed up with them for 3 months now have had 30-40 sureys offered and never completed one. Its getting boring now.It is better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for something you are not.

I have to agree that more often than not after completing a fair few questions I get told I don't qualify!
Surely they must have half an idea if you qualify when they send you the email?! That would mean only a few questions would be needed to ensure you are the right peron! My second favorite household chore is ironing. I get quite alot of surveys from Ciao and more often than not i qualify (that maybe due to the fact that i open the email as soon as it hits my account) i tend to get alot of surveys on the cinemas and dvds. Last week i did this survey for £4.40:eek: it was supposed to take 65mins but i completed it in about 20mins so i was very pleased with that. Its money for free so im happy with what i get. Im at about £17 at the moment and i have already withdrawn about £30 so in about 1 year i have made about £50 for nothing so its worth it.Offical MSE Fantasy League Member:beer:0

My mum hates Ciao, but she's wound up pretty tight and being laid off, so I reckon she's got other issues (you can help the librarian's cause here)
Anyway, with Ciao you have to answer as soon as possible, and even then they might forget to pay, but I find them pretty good overall. I've qualified for 10 out of 28 and my balance is around £8 since March when I started this survey taking mission - they've lost a pound somewhere along the line, but hey, life goes on - I just take it out of my kid's piggy bank. Shockin'.
I've been making £100/month from my surveys which isn't bad. I'd like to get more, but then wouldn't we all. It's pretty easy money for sitting on your arris and giving your inner ego an outing. If you don't like Ciao, there are plenty others. Lightspeed for one. My blog lists some, but the best sites are ones that people dedicate time to, such as the surveycritic or surveystar. I just found them to be up front, genuine people.0
