Still running my stove a couple of days a week. Today it's like winter out there, black sky, rain and gales. Only burning logs though this time of year.
My coal man is still doing weekly deliveries of coal and smokeless which is usually unheard of this time of year and the price of forestry logs is still climbing as demand is so great. I'm buying wood as and when I can now ready for next spring I've not much storage/ drying room so can only really have about 80 bags max ATM. Hoping to have a log store built this year if I can find enough pallets
Still needing to get a new rope seal for the door. Just beginning to fray and fall out along the hinge side. But it's four years old now so is expected0 -
I haven't lit my stove since the middle of March (I only light it at weekends anyway). I managed with just my aircon throughout the March/April cold spell as I was expecting it to warm up any day so didn't order any extra coal
How wrong could I have been?
