My mum emailed the CEO of Vodafone, and they replied to say that all the money had already been refunded, plus they will give us compensation and offered my mum an early upgrade.
TO SOLVE THE KKO ISSUE, WRITE TO THE CEO OF VODAFONE. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO THIS, USE THE LINK THAT LEE FROM VODAFONE HAS POSTED ON THIS THREAD
Thanks to all that helped me through this difficult time.
Well done @'Rory The Filmmaker',
I am pleased that have persevered and not given up at the brick wall VF manage to put up when faced with this scam by its account holders.
I hope that all the other posters and readers of this thread will learn by your example. This is to say 'YOU' were a victim of theft, one that VF have profited from by taking their share of the text charge.
Another satisfied VF customer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
I have been done by KKO for £19 for the month, contacted them (chargd call) and they said I clicked on an advert!!
Anyway looked into PAYFORIT which is a micro payment system and
1. What is Payforit?
Payforit is the name of the new UK mobile payment service, started jointly by Vodafone, Orange, 3, T-Mobile and 02.
2. How does it work?
Whenever you want to purchase content and charge it your mobile, you will be presented with a standard Payforit screen that includes clear information on the content/service you are buying, the merchant you are buying from and how much it will cost you.
Once you authorise payment by pressing ‘Pay Now’ or ‘Subscribe’, a payment request goes directly to your mobile operator for validation.
Spoke to T mobile to say I was not resented with standard Payforit screen that includes clear information on the content/service you are buying, the merchant you are buying from and how much it will cost you and they refunded straight away
Ask to see the digital proof that the service was authorised by you, if they cannot show then they are at fault, there is a fraud in this system to allow KKO to get away with this and by the time they shut down will be sunning in Cannes0
