In other news - more spends yesterday! This week really isn't a good one, especially as I had decided to go back to basics with my budget.

Mon - £35.53 fathers day bits and bobs, bird food
    Tues - £2.94 groceries
Weds - £16.76 bits and bobs again, dimmer switch, extension lead, treats. :D £2 for baby ETO savings pot.
    Thurs - who knows!!! :D

Today we have a photoshoot with baby ETO. :D however he tends to sleep in the afternoons and the appt is at 2.00. Ooops. So might be sleepy photoshoot. We shall see. And may be more spends.

  • Hi ETO

Thanks so much, I'm ok thanks, just trying to catch up with things. Have so much to do and now I'm as sick as a dog lol, can't seem to get on top of anything. Change of weather I think from cold to hot to cold, but am getting there. Hope the photoshoot went well and baby wasn't to sleepy lol!

    Cheers

Feeling very pleased with myself. Still on track with my £10 budget and I'm off to Costco for tea tonight. £1.50 for jacket potato with Chilli and Cheese - bargain :)

Not feeling smug anymore. The night shift came in and said that they were getting a pizza tomorrow night so me and my work colleague have decided to join them which cost £3.20. Now technically it would mean that I have gone over budget but I was owed £3 today so I'm putting that towards the pizza :)

  • Well this week has turned out to be quite spendy. So far
    Monday - NSD
Tuesday - £4.75 Fathers Day Cards & £5.00 Collection at work
    Wednesday - £3.30 Body Pump
Thursday - £3.30 on an unexpected lunch. Grrrrr! Had lunch at home but roped into doing running about for Mr Weasley's business so I ended up having to get something to eat.
Friday - £2.45 Costa Coffee, 80p on a Tesco chocolate croissant (YUM) & £7.50 on lunch, we had to have a special lunch since one of the boys is finishing up for his wedding today. We're not even invited & this wedding has cost me a fortune!

So this week - £27.10 spent so far & alot of calories eaten. I did make it to body pump though.

I've got 22.90 to take away with me on my weekend with the inlaws. Going to spend £11 on a ferry crossing tonight so I'm really going to try & not go over budget. Not sure I'll get through the whole weekend with only my £11.90 left!

    Tues - £2.94 groceries
Weds - £16.76 bits and bobs again, dimmer switch, extension lead, treats. £2 for baby ETO savings pot.
Thurs - NSD :j nothing spent at the photo shoot but we are going back next week to view the pics.
Fri - £11.68 chippy tea, couple of bits from supermarket.

    = £68.91 / £10

Big fat red and epic fail this week. Ok so couple of bits I could have done without but on the whole all purchases were needed, just not necessarily budgeted for.

Need to look at the bank account and work out next weeks budget carefully. I need to get to the end of the month with money spare so need to be careful over the next couple of weeks.

Will set up next weeks thread at some point tomorrow.

I spent a grand total of £10.20 of a budget of £10 and even though I've gone over, I'm chuffed to bits. Never thought that I could (nearly) stick to a budget and a fairly low one at that.
