I've done a quick search here and in the tv section and can't see this (apologies if it already on the forum somewhere).
I was checking my sky account and noticed the deal to get a free wireless connector to enable you to watch the on demand content.
We already have a wired connection via an Ethernet cable, so will use this one on our secondary box.

You have to be a sky movies and HD subscriber to get it though!

Thanks for this we have been looking at these for ages but refused to pay an extra £22 on top of our subscription as every time we never get any offers. Have just ordered.
Thanks again.:):j Claimed £6400 PPI some more to go :j0 -
If you ring and ask for a free trial of sky movies they still send you one, we did and don't have HD either, just cancel after the 3 months trial.MSE- The Glitchhikers guide to the galaxy0

I have Sky TV but Virgin Phone and BB so if I got one of these would it work just connecting it to my Virgin Modem or does it need a BT phoneline?

It'll be fine paired with your Virgin router. It will connect wirelessly to the router, and you use the ethernet cable from this box into the back of the sky box.0

It says the cost is £21.95 if you're not on the Movies deal, but I'm not on the movies deal and I've just added it to my basket and it's only coming up at £9.99.--- Warning: Grumpy Old Man in Training ---0

Thanks OP
Just ordered. No HD needed, though, just a HD sky+ box and movies package
