Can anyone recommend a Philly cheese alternative I can get from tesco? It would need to work for cooking and be more creamey tasting than cheesey, if that makes sense. Philly is one of the only things I buy that isn't supermarket value/own brand.
I've not found anything as smooth, but can't say I notice much of a difference in the taste for own brand cream cheese. Your other option is to stock up when it's on offer - I got a big tub for £1.20 a couple of weeks back, but don't know if it'll still be on offer.0 -

I went in the bank and told them and they blocked them and put them down as stolen. Do you think it's still worth reporting?
Yes, when I had mine stolen the Police said its always best to report it as it could be helpful to them. The day mine went there were 5 others in the same centre.Slimming World at target0 -

Please keep an eye on your account look out for odd little amounts of card authorities i know you have cancelled your card but somethings may have got thru. I remember a old guy got a mini statment from a cash machine and walked away. The thief went on the machine when it said anything else, he said yes took all the money out (the balance was below 300), then he went to the phone shop and got a phone on the card.Gc 2013 +26 -5. -4 -7 -14 -15 -10.-8.20 +15p+30+5.80 Dec +9 GROCERY challenge 2014 Jan -2Feb -3 March -1.50 April +5.40 May +4.90 June -3.July 16.50/85

Updated sig. Just back from spending £16.78 at l1dl and £8.01 at T3scos. Am making a cake for a friends party tomorrow (which they have said they are reimbursing me for) which bumped me over the £20 I was aiming for this week.
My freezer is still bulging, hadn't realised how much stuff I had in there!0 -
hmmmmm went to morrisons with my mum to give her a hand with her shopping as she wasn't feeling to great and spent £15.64, it was on things that will go into my wee stockpile, teabags/deodarants etc but really going to make a big push to only top up with bread and milk on monday and only buy other things if its a fantastic offer that we will use through this monthDEBT

Have just updated my signature. Went slightly over this weeks budget, but have bought some bits and bobs for the stock cupboard on top of the actual weekly shop.
Now that i am working i think i will go back to doing a monthly budget instead of a weekly one, but i'll keep it weekly until September now.
Got a few 'luxury' things, like cheese (half price on offer) and proper Butter (Lurpack) that i havent been able to really afford for a while.0 -
Went to Mr M this morning and got weekly shop. Came in at £36.52. Was hoping it'd be more around 30 but had to stock up on quite a few bits so not too bad. Got a lovely shoulder of pork for tomorrow lunch which was half price - about £3 so was pleased
Trying to live a good life on little money :T0
