The wraps were successful (well sort of). The recipe I used tasted delicious and not gluten free at all (anyone who has ever had gf will know what i'm on about). The only issue I seem to be having is rolling them thin enough and moving them into a pan without them tearing :s

So this afternoon I'm off to buy some greaseproof to experiment with, I'm hoping that if I roll them on the greaseproof and then put the wrap and the greaseproof in the pan together that the heat will separate the paper from the wrap for me... fingers crossed x

If you dont mind a suggestion you may find baking parchment will be more successful than greaseproof paper. I always find dough sticks terribly to greaseproof.

Manged to keep under previous budget, can't believe we are on Page 12 already.

Please put me down for £120 for August. Planning to do an online shop to be delivered later this week. I prefer to mosy in the supermarkets for bargains and yellow stickers but too busy at the mo.

Hope everyone has a good month :D

Wasn't going to start until tomorrow but needed to nip to the farm shop to get some big potatoes to make chips tonight as only got fairly small new ones at the moment. Only spent 93p though.

First little shop of the week done. £6.54 spent on fruit and veg included in my week's meal plan. That includes 4 avocados, two of which are lovely and ripe and the other two should be ready in a couple of days, perfect. Next (slightly larger) shop will be done later this afternoon but I won't be back on to update until tomorrow.

    Signature updated accordingly :)

Can I be put down for £200 this month please. We did a food shop yesterday out of July's budget so won't be going shopping again till next Tuesday now. Budget will include nappies and baby milk too. OH is doing a few extra shifts at work and so need to sort out things he can take for lunch as he's a swine for buying meal deals!

Went to Mr S last night to get the meal deal for a tenner and managed to lock my keys in my car. Not how I wanted to spend my birthday night, waiting 2 hours for the AA man to turn up:mad:

Total spend was £9.04 as the cost of the wine out of the deal comes out of the booze budget. I also spent £9.17 of my birthday money on 2 bags of basics stuff as they are collecting for the local food bank at work. Since I didnt know what to spend my birthday cash on I thought I would do something useful with some of it.

Raggy Doll - any chance you could share your GF wrap recipe? I am coeliac and used to love enchiladas but the warb&rton wraps are soooo expensive I never have them and would love to make my own. Thanks

Need to inventory the fridge and freezer this evening and do some serious meal planning.
