Used our 2nd Mirror voucher today and did a stock up of everything we need for the rest of the month that is either non perishable or can be frozen. Also got some fresh fruit and yogurts with a total spend of £37.10 after vouchers.
A lot of the budget has gone so we are going to have to be strict with our top up shops over the next three weeks.
PP xxOriginal mortgage £112,000 . Final payment due August 2027.

Spent £43.64 on a delivery from Mr T yesterday.
[Well stocked up now with stuff to take away with us on holiday tomorrow. (Have been buying extra for the past 6 weeks!) We've booked a nice-looking caravan, so will be self-catering, but are looking forward to enjoying some meals out. Apart from visiting friends/family and overnight stays to attend funerals, this is our first holiday in at least 20 years!!! Still have lots to do so it could be a late night! Watch out Somerset... we're on our way!!!]#Life isn't about waiting for the storms to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain #We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us #If you focus on what you have left behind, you will never see what lies ahead - Gusteau/RatatouilleGC 2022: £0/£2,500 total spend0 -
Hi, I failed epically (is that a word!?!) in June and so for July I am going to try again and reckon I can do it for £350. Been to Ald! this afternoon and spent £36.50. I have got loads of meat and tinned stuff already in so am going to try and make do with what we have in for dinners. Made some pasta sauce up the other day and then made some bread dough and used some for HM pizzas. Sooooo yummy and so easy and, more importantly, sooo cheap!
Have a nice evening

Hello all! I'm doing ok I think, a third of the way through the month and plenty in the cupboards. W order comes tomorrow, with £15 off £75 spend, so I am hoping to make this do for the rest of the month with only top up shops.
Made lasagne tonight and froze portions for another meal.
However, I did have to reward myself with a bottle of wine, to try to forget about having spent £420 on the car this week  Tax, MOT, service and new brake thingies... ughhhhhh. Here I am scrimping and saving, and all that money leaves my credit card all at once!0 -
First spends of July this morning - a whole £1.00 in the C00P

Hope you wont mind a suggestion here, you spend quite a bit on Rennies. I have suffered in the past quite badly from indigestion.
but an old style tip is buy a peppermint plant, not expensive at all and once you have it , it will spread, chew a few leaves and it really works.
Away thank you, if they had been for me I would have but unfortunately they are for bf. He's an athlete so has to watch what he puts in his system but gets chronic indigestion before and during games - he only found that rennies work this last week so I've stocked up on enough for his training camps and upcoming international tournaments :-)
Wish I had got them from Boots though - not massively different in price at ours and I could have got double points with a voucher!grr.
I already know tomorrow will be a NSD as we have an event at work (free breakfast yay), no lunch break as we will be travelling back to our office but I will be taking a pack up and then for tea I'm thinking either sausages with Yorkshire and veg or chicken noodle soup - depends what I can be bothered enough to make!************************************
