JSA Unfair sanction

A different member of staff 'signed' the OP at a regular signing.
Both times my regular advisor signed me (named on my booklet). I have no doubt my advisor was the one who made the decision to sanction not from above them. This is wrong a claimant gets sanctioned on 1 persons say so. Their should be a immediate same day (if late in day next day)

JSA advisors can sanction from immediate effect. (October 2012 changed rules).0

Somebody - a decision maker - had not made a decision at the time the OP signed for a regular signing.

The member of staff 'signing' the OP at the regular signing was unaware of a decision - because it had not been made yet. And so, would have 'signed' the OP as normal.
You appear to believe that the staff are a single entity and the signing officer should have known about something that hadn't even been decided yet.
Stop trying to create a smokescreen for this incompetence, this dodgy advisor & dodgy Jobcentre who are trying to manufacture sanctions to meet targets for a cruel vindictive government punishing the unemployed & poor.
The OP has said it is about their CV, which they have provided, they have not been told to do anything else.
The OP should not have been put in this position of having to try to overturn an unfair sanction which should never have been raised with all the distress it creates and not having money he needs to live & pay bills.
Advisors should be disciplined for this.0 -
To clarify it was my regular JSA advisor who I have seen twice who sanctioned me. I received a standard letter at the time which was printed in my presence which said I was sanctioned for not 'taking appropriate steps in finding employment'. Which I find outstanding as I have been looking for work in the terms of my jobseeking agreement ,interviews, filling application.
No, you haven't. Only a Decision Maker can make such a decision and your advisor is not one.
Your advisor would have referred you for a sanction, with evidence to support the doubt on your claim. Someone else applies the sanction.0 -
You must NEVER record an interview in the Jobcentre without informing staff you are going to do so, and gain their permission. You will not, however, get permission except in exceptional circumstances. You cannot use surreptitiously recorded information in any appeal, especially if it ends up going via the Tribunal Service - they cannot and will not take it into account. If you're found to be recording surreptitiously you'll be asked to leave & warned against unacceptable behaviour - any further instances could see you banned entirely.

You can record whatever the hell you like :money:
The only limitation in law is on the usage of the recording especially if third parties not involved in your conversion are recorded.
Personal use fine posting it on youtube then and only then might you be at risk of legal action.
The Tribunal will and can consider any and all evidence no matter how it was obtained. On that point it is up to the tribunal and the tribunal alone to decide if they will admit the recording as evidence.
In order to submit a recording you get a transcript typed up and supply a copy of the actual recording for validation and submit both for a decision.
My GP knows I record her! Clever girl my GP :j0 -

I just think it's not reasonable to think a member of staff should automatically be aware of the decision made by a different member of staff, just because they work for the same organisation, especially when the decision hadn't been made when you believe they should have been aware of it.
Even for you that's a bias too far.0 -

No smokescreen. I have stated several times that, from the details given by the OP, I don't believe a sanction is appropriate.

You bring shame on yourselves for trying to explain away unfair sanctions like this.
JC+ is discredited with things like this happening.
It should not have happened.0 -
