Kids walking along back garden wall as a through route

Quick growing scrambling plant up and over the wall plus some trellis on top would do the trick as long as neighbour at back likes the idea.0

The neighbour next door did say that it used to happen a fair bit, it saves the kids a long walk around the main road to my area.
I guess they are using it to meet up with mates around this way or to get to the shops quicker.
Have placed some plant pots along the wall for now to see if that acts as a deterrant, they can't jump off the wall and then back up the other side as there is a nice spikey bush underneath.
Hopefully the delay they'll have from moving the plant pots will be enough to make them think twice, when I've seen them go across they haven't wanted to hang around
Otherwise will see how much it would cost for the triangular bricks
The triangular bricks need not extend the full length of the wall - only 6 or 8 feet from each end would do the trickGather ye rosebuds while ye may0 -
the motion detection sprinkler works like charm with deer at my sisters house so I think it would work on kids.

At the stables where I go they have a movement detector and it shouts PLEASE LEAVE THE AREA PLEASE LEAVE THE AREA over and over again. It continuously scares the seven shades of sh*t out of me, and it might work for the start until they tag on they're not going to get zapped after a while.0

I would be careful if this is used,
It would be just like the compensation culture if a kid got sprayed, fell off, broke his leg and sued.0 -
Two things:
[1] Lots of anti-climb paint. It never dries, makes a mess of them/their clothes and they'll get a battering from their mum.
[2] Trellis on the top - tricky stuff to negotiate, high chance of it breaking so is often a deterrant against burglars who want an easy life.0 -
Another vote for the air rifle0

vote for lots of anti climb paint here (apologies in advance to the cat!)
Be careful with anything that could injure someone as you'll potentially make yourself liable0
