Kids walking along back garden wall as a through route

Yep that is a good idea... Anything to stop the little beggars walking on your wall. Cheeky sods.0

I'd use the triangular bricks recommended. As far as I'm aware, the police do NOT recommend using carpet gripper as someone could sustain an injury and sue you (stupid I know but there you go!). Or could you install some trellis? This can look quite nice and is tall (so stopping access) but is too flimsy to support any large weight.
Good luck!0 -
Pyracantha bushes are certainly spiky and also pretty in autumn/winter. You might have trouble finding any that are already the same height as your wall; it might be worth asking at some garden centres/nurseries, because they are often purchased for their security side-effects.0

PrikkaStrip with warning notice as long as 2m high.. plastic barbed wire ie it looks like it but isn't which you can find online..spiked railings depending on height as you can't go more than 2m from soil level without Planning Permission..floodlightswith motion sensors ? CCTV ? Trellis with plants.0

Or just wait and see? Odd that they've only just started doing this after 18 months, so they might get bored and move on to a different kind of "double dare"Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0

Get your self a high spec paintball gun?0

The neighbour next door did say that it used to happen a fair bit, it saves the kids a long walk around the main road to my area.
I guess they are using it to meet up with mates around this way or to get to the shops quicker.
Have placed some plant pots along the wall for now to see if that acts as a deterrant, they can't jump off the wall and then back up the other side as there is a nice spikey bush underneath.
Hopefully the delay they'll have from moving the plant pots will be enough to make them think twice, when I've seen them go across they haven't wanted to hang around
Otherwise will see how much it would cost for the triangular bricks0 -
Are you able to fix a heat/movement sensing light? That might be enough to deter them.0

I was going to say an air rifle would work but I suppose the pointy bricks would do the necessary job, shameIt's someone else's fault.0
