thanks for reply. I am having to write down the forum I visit as I just cannot remember which one, so many on here. At present I am just sticking with this one as I want to cut down on food spending and will find my way around in good time. Good boards though.0

This is crazy... I used to hate food shopping back in the 'old' days (i.e. a couple of weeks ago) before I started budgeting and when I could effectively spend what I wanted. Now I'm restricted to £37.50 per shop I'm getting excited about it... I'm sure that says something significant about me, although I dread to think what!↑ Things I wouldn't say to your face

Curv, it says you rise to a challenge. The act of shopping for groceries can be boring in the extreme, if your faced with restrictions it can fire your determination and imagination. You really have to think about what your doing, and there may even be a little bit of competitive spirit about it as well. I said I would list all the things I waste on the site, as I was emmbarassed at the stuff that was going in the bin, and didnt want people knowing about it, hence I,ve cut my waste to almost nil, wish I could do same with my waist:T:jDabbler in all things moneysaving.Master of none:o

I know exactly what you mean Curv - I'm glad I'm not the only one!
Just been to the post office with what I thought was enough cash to post a couple of items (sold 3 items in 4 days on Amazon!), and didn't have enough - oh the shame! I went back to the car laden with baby carrier, 3 year old and shopping bag with parcels to raid parking money from ashtray, and then had to take join the end of the q again  So much for leaving debit card at home!0 -

Yay! I came in £6.51 under budget
Oh, Nova... I really feel for you - it's a pain having to lug toddlers about at the best of times (I've got a 17mo and a 4&1/2mo  ) but having to do it twice blows goats.
And thanks, teedy - I like your 'rise to a challenge' theory better than my slightly smuttier one

This is definitely the flylady thread, we were discussing the Anthea Turner programme the other day, here's the thread
