mikeD make sure you are using tesco discount codes! Search Google - I always get at least £5 off a £50 spend, £10 off £80 spend etc.

Last month had £30ish left over which went into ISA. Anything left over this month I will do the same - feels good!

  • Hi guys

I spent £ 2.23 on Saturday that I wasn't very happy with, but had no choice, a friend brought stuff for a barbie and I had to pay my contribution, anyway could have been much worse lol. I brought all my own stuff, but she thought she'd bring some things for "us" to share, more like for her, but anyway. Will make sure to tell her not to next time. That's ok as it still leaves me £ 37.77 for the rest of the month.

Thanx for keeping me on the straight and narrow, and hi EL, thanx so much for all those spreadsheets and cashback websites, they sure keep me busy lol! Thanx for sharing.

    Hi all

I'd love to join in this month if I can. I've noticed that our grocery bills are crazy but worse we seem to bin a lot of stuff.

For a starter month I'd like to aim for £350 and work down. Which is ridiculous since there's only DH and I plus one 7 month DS currently weaning.

Last week I spend £107 in the supermarket. DH said he couldn't work out what on so that's not a great sign....

    We need to reduce this!!!

Surely it's okay to treat yourself once in a while - it would be impossible to be good all of the time, plus I'm sure you deserved it!
