    Evening diaryland,

I can't believe it's November already this year is going to quickly, time is running out, so quick update as I'm starting to slack I need to get back into daily check ins. Have made payment to the credit card of £1033.91, bringing the total owed to £3698.63...I have £200 to last the rest of the month, am hoping to not spend any & pay it to the card...fingers crossed. Figure I can pay around £800 from Novembers salary &£800 from December, anything extra is going to need to be made up by other means...eBay,babysitting, penny for the guy (kidding on that one) but I'm sure something will come up....

In other news got unexpected £20 from aunt, thats £18 to the the credit card... Checked my other credit card statement & I have 20,907 your points earned so redeemed an iPod shuffle as my sis Xmas present, that's another one sorted...I think the rest will be used for vouchers to get more presents...maybe for boots vouchers make use of 3for2...more gifts with no money...I like it.

Nothing else to report...going o make tomorrows lunch, get sorted for tomorrow...have a fab night all x

    Evening diaryland,

So what's new, eyes test today (work reimbursed bless them) but prescription has changed so that'll be a new set of contacts & glasses (glasses will wait for new year though)... Ill make do with what I got, for now, opticians gave me a set of monthly for trial so I should be cool till next pay day (cheeky I know). Ill order some more later in the month &make use of quid co, may need another email account wangle another 10%off... Well it be rude not too.

Joined road kill challenge today, I'm excited!! I'm in visioning my self as a money magnet, it's a really fun thread & I like the fact it concentrates on increase...which I love!! Show me the money!!

Watched a documentary the other night 'food inc' not for the faint hearted, needless to say I haven't been able to eat meat since unless I'm sure it's free range..checked on Mr T... & free range bird is £14!! Like seriously, needless to say I won't be buying that just yet so it's veggie options for me...if I'm honest I wished I never watched the darn thing lol still I guess my food bill will go down ..(attempt @silverlining)

Have sorted out my mrT points so I know what coupons end when & received £15 mr T vouchers so they will be used up before there due date.

Opted for boots vouchers incentive so that's £45 free Xmas shopping money...that'll see everyone right *fingers crossed*

Anyway I best get some sleep have a busy day tomorrow...night all xX

Shelbi - I get most of my meat reduced these days, a few weeks back I got 4 x lamb steaks for 50p in A$da. Of course you have to be there at the right time, and fight the crowds but it keeps the cost down. Also, do you have any local farmers markets? We used to have a guy in the high street who would do 12 x massive chicken breasts (free range) for £20.

    :wave::wave::wave:Hi zoology dragon &kerri gt

ZD- Thank you very much I really appreciate it...really helps for me to keep plodding on!! I cannot wait im just hoping its this side of xmas *everything crossed* :beer:xx

KGT- thank you hun, I have no idea if there's a farmers market close to me, never occurred to me to look before, but that will be my mission tomorrow, seek them out at all costs...if I'm honest right now I'd drive to Outer Mongolia for a free range bird at those prices, I will be super crimping it, making it last all week loool for sure...chicken soup, chicken curry, jerk chicken, stir fried chicken, BBQ chicken...as you may have guessed I think I have withdrawals:rotfl: ...really wish I could undo what I saw...where's a delorian when I need one! Thank you so much for the heads up, I'll get on that straight away....Thank you!!

Today I found a penny road kill (actually wasn't road kill more like room kill...was liberated from a drawer, cycled in and bumped into the boys in blue who registered my bike against theft & I got to go in a big truck to see what kind of visibility drivers have...I mention this because I was impressed at the mets proactive approach & it made me feel a lot more comfortable cycling, may just get another good few weeks before Jack Frost and I do battle...ima hang in there really don't want to have to take the train now.

I've also been going back to basics, having a good mooch on Mse, reading through diaries & remotivating myself, gearing up for this final stretch:eek: have resurrected the 1% grid...printed off a new one, except this time payments are £37 instead of £70... A lot less scary & showed me how far I've come since I started, few ups & downs but hopefully back on the up...it's attached to the wall where I see it before I go to sleep, must be working as I'm already itching to pay some off so I can colour....let the games begin... oh and have sorted out more things for eBay- zero insertion fees and buyers would be fab right now....:T

    Sweet dreams Mse land...x

Well done at locating the farmers market - they might not be cheap (no pun intended) but check out what is available, perhaps hang on to see if there are any late reductions etc - also with meat it is very much quality over qty. Other options if you're in the big smoke could be the big meat markets (I soooo want to to go there) or, online Donald Russell looks quite good and often has some deals on meat.

Ha didnt mean to post that justyet, im eager lol!

No road kill yet today but i have hope, Boss fixed my break pads which was really nice of him, saved me a trip to halfords (pads on bike not car) though did tell me I need a new set in a couple of months, dont think I will be cycling in by then its starting to get chilly so hopefully can defer that payment a wee bit longer. Was really grateful as Im trying to last at least till christmas on the bike.

Borrowed £20 out but will have £25 back at the end of the week...Nice £5 profit dont mind if I do..(one off but couldnt not).

Had to travel via train yesterday but used up funds already on my oyster, did buy lunch though (I know naughty!! £6 I didnt need to spend if I had been organised..cant lie though was yummy, was a welcomed treat) My friend also treated me to a hot choclate & cheese & crackers..aww some people are just super lovely. really want to make another % payment to the card but I think I will hold fire until the end of the week, I dont want to lose track & go overdrawn like last month. I hope I still get the halifax £5 incentive if i manage to stay in credit this month and that its not ended as i went overdrawn last month. Does anyone know how that works??

So no payments made this week instead will be attempting nsd & trying to increase income...wish me luck.

Hope everyone has a magical Monday & a fab week ahead x
