Quick status update... £60 paid to debt this morning, called & reduced saving payment to minimum, need to grab my father a birthday gift still for tomorrow... Am hoping to fly to boots after work to see what offering I can get with my advantage points...hmm a card will be needed too so I guess its a spend day for me. Fingers crossed they have something useful. ;)

Works pretty busy today but I will make sure I find time to go through my budget....

Hope everyone is having a wonderful afternoon...xX:D:D

    Afternoon Diary land...

So happy its Friday!! Not that im going to be out & about, today I made a bank payment of £101 to my credit card, taking it just under £5000..a pound under but hey it looks better & its under so im dancing lol!! Its also leaving me with limited funds so im not tempted to head out & paint the town red!! I need to get focus!! so CC1 now on £4999..cannot wait till payday to take another chunk out of it!!

This weekend will be about embracing freeness, a park run to get my fitness up, study & ill give myself a facial & watching a movie (if I do all my study) funny but its turning into my idea of bliss, hope im not turning into a hermit? lool!!
Saying that off out with the girls to the cinema next week...im so excited, funny how now I really enjoy the little things & cheaper trips now! Ill certainly be carrying it forward to the new year!!

Oh was gifted a bubble bath set..which I havent opened, thats my aunts christmas present sorted...& managed to get tie & cufflink sets from £land few weeks back, Cannot believe how much Ive saved already on pressies...thanks to bedsitbob for the tip a while back... I no longer feel the shame I used to going in & having a good route around (i actually used to be concious of that, seems pretty silly now...now I dont care, im saving& managing my money) ..This journey has certainly given me a new found confidence.

Lillan I made it to the Card factory..bargains there, I managed to pick up all the cards for this year, didnt even go over a £3...very impressed!! THANK YOU!!...

Im off its home time & my study texts are calling me (groans inside..but will do it)...Wishing you all a wonderful, fun & frugal weekend!!! Enjoy..x

Evening...late night check in...so the study didn't go quite to plan, to be honest I don't quite know what I've done all evening...think I've just been in some kind of daze...was reminded of an ex earlier it threw me off balance:o...realised how much I want to start a new next year. Being debt free would mean many things...not having to have the dreaded conversation about money, being able to treat myself to nice things guilt free &using cash not credit cards...aww a wardrobe update...honestly if I were asked out now I'd have nothing decent to wear so probably a good idea I haven't been:rotfl: silver linings :rotfl:

Was thinking everything happens for a reason & that all seasons have a purpose, well were in the last quarter of the year it's getting dark& colder so actually the perfect time to stay in & save some pennies....perfect conditions for beating this debt down & clawing my way back into the black....I have no idea who said this but it sprung to mind and seems quite apt "after the dark of night comes the dawn" reminded me that things get a little challenging but then get better....

I'm holding on to that, I'm ready for those brighter days, no credit card payments, no putting plans on hold...it's time to take full responsibly for my actions....& dance into a new year without the stress....I'm getting excited!!

Cannot wait for next week payday...I plan on chucking most of what I earn on the ccrd...only 3payments left:eek: where did the time go? ...well I'm out I have a 5k run to get through & a measly time to beat...honestly a blessing to this is I'm in better shape than I was, I'm certainly fitter, though you wouldn't believe that if you saw me struggling round that park.:o by the end of this year ill be trim & fabulous....& in the black!!:T:T:T

Night all (sorry about the ramblings) xx

Hi shelbi, I've been lurking on your diary for a little bit but just wanted to say well done with all you've achieved and your attitude. :T whilst I won't be starting 2014 DF, we should be in a better financial position than we have been and on the last stretch. It's been a long and difficult road (still is, OH is just useless at managing a budget) but the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter.

Hope the run goes well, I do a boot camp although been off this week Ill. Thinking about signing up to one of those obstacle races next year though. There's one called the Dirty Dozen that does a 6k (dirty half dozen) race I quite fancy.

    Good morning diary land!!!

Happy Sunday...today the plan is to go food shopping, basics are needed, milk, bread etc, plus I have telco vouchers which need using up..also off to get my phone repaired, hoping everything is still on there & it cost me nothing *fingers crossed*

Sat up last night watching house that 100k built was inspired by people's use of recycled goods... Have been having a clear out of things I can eBay, give to charity etc....I have so much toot it's unbelievable:o

Still a declutter always feels good, have found another jar for pennies so will be using that & watching those little seedlings grow...lord let me find some road kill for it:rotfl:

Cinema with the girlies Tuesday, I will be taking my own snacks in, even my own drink sourced from home...every little helps.

Found my goals for 2013 last night some of them made me chuckle, although it seems unlikely ill get my Audi, buy my own home or be engaged to the man of my dreams by Christmas eve (actually there is still time for these so im not ruling them out) :rotfl:::rotfl: I am on my way to achieving some, I got to see Rome, I will be debt free, I have got into better shape & have some savings :T:T ...I am pretty proud of what I've done so far...;) ...with that in mind I best get showered & ready to conquer today, goals aren't going to achieve themselves ;);)

Hope you all have an awesome Sunday xX
