• I thought the 'legit' PPCs were a bunch of deceitful money grabbers, this 'company' is completely illegal by the look of it and just after money. Oh wait.... the other PPCs are doing the same :)

Happy to do that. Any links or email addresses? Should I report to BPA as well?

- BPA yes why not, just reply to that email pointing out what they are claiming to be able to do (have they said they can get DVLA data, being in the BPA?).

- DVLA, use this email and explain what they are claiming to be able to do: FOI@dvla.gsi.gov.uk

- Trading Standards, try to put this in writing to your local Council TS Officer if they have one. Don't try phoning any generic number for TS as it's handled by a useless fob-off 'consumer advice' call centre somewhere else in the UK.

If you can believe this. This lot are joining the BPA AOS scheme

This is the response

@BritishParking Hello BPA, are these part of the BPA AOS Scheme, can't find them, but they claim they are - http://t.co/YnvE57kAm0

@BritishParking: they've jumped the gun a bit: in the process of joining, have been asked to remove logo until application has been processed.

@BritishParking Also their website is full of fines/penalties/offences, do you audit that before they join the AOS?

@BritishParking: It's all part of the compliance audit process. They will be told to update their website or face sanctions.

But on this question

@BritishParking Really? Could you tell what company they are? They don't exist as far as I can tell, their address is a maildrop only!

They haven't answered as yet, which begs the question as to why they appear to be letting a company that doesn't exist (at least I can't find them) , how can they comply with ICO if they don't exist?

How come this forum is much more alive to the issues that the BPA (the 'professionals' :rotfl:) should be spotting and dealing with; it's what they get paid for ......... and it's why the Government acknowledge them as the Approved Trade Association.

A joke.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

They don't care as long as they get the money, they """will""" sort out problems as they occur. They did this to a local car park, the church are an AOS member not a parking company. Nothing at all on the website about paking, no AOS or BPA.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

LOL! That was an amusing read! :D

- under the 'clients' link they have NO CLIENTS listed!

- under the appeals section you get this: ''Plaintiffs status / Driver / Keeper''

http://ypes.net/appeal/

...an attempt to make it seem 'all legal, like' but they don't seem to realise that the term plaintiff isn't used any more...a plaintiff is now called a 'claimant' and the legal definition is ''one who brings a legal action or suit in a court''.

Hahahahaahahahaha! Jeez they are soooo stupid! Ex-clampers I wouldn't be surprised!

YPES show either a total disregard for, or total lack of understanding of Private Parking Law.

A perfect candidate for the BPA's AOS scheme.
