I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Butterfly brain, I'm certainly going to blame it on that, lol.

  • Just popping back in to check on Halight and Julie and am delighted to hear both are doing well. Just take it easy and get better at the pace your body needs.

Great news from DD today, her end of year uni results are out, she passed with flying colours and now has just one year of her biomedical science degree remaining. With all she has had/still has to deal with, that makes me a very, very proud mum :)

Sounds "normal" to me, though I prefer a hands-on approach! :rotfl:

    You do surprise me (not).

Glad Halight, Molly and Julie are doing well with their recovery.

Halight....glad that you are so well but take it easy, know that you have been there, done that etc, but......

Julie....glad that things went well for you...

Hester....I go mad on your behalf on a frequent basis, not that it helps you, but please look after yourself. I know that you know what you are doing, but could you do another SOA and see if there is any way you can retire asap, I was surprised when I looked at early retirement on health grounds how much less we could get away with after I retired. Will be thinking of you to-morrow.

OH in for INR test this morning, level so high that they are taking him in tomorrow for another test....he is not meant to have alcohol but might as well be talking to the wall....men!

One of DD's neighbours backed into my car when I was there a couple of weeks ago....I never heard the noise and to me the damage was minimal but she was sooo apologetic and said that she would pay for me to have it done, get it done or I could go through her insurance....I said that she could have it done as figured that would be cheapest for her....was done to-day and she arrived back with the keys and a bottle of wine and box of chocolates 'for the trouble I had'....as I did nothing except hand over the keys it really restored my faith in humanity....everybody is not out to get you!!

Sleep well and stay safe and painfree.
