Morning everyone
Halight - great to see you back with us already but remember not to overdo it and get plenty of rest so you can heal x
Hugs to all those that are feeling sad/poorly x
Cloudy and no sun at the moment - but dry and not too cold so have put washing on the line. Plants watered.
DH up and off to work stupid early.
Dinner last night was salad, with LO cold meat, pasta salad, boiled eggs, salad, hot new potatoes. Tonight we will be having beef stew as remembered to get the meat out to defrost.
Man is coming back first thing to sort out last little job in the bathroom, then it will be finished - yay! Will pay the flooring company when I come out of work today. Only working until lunchtime, then have all the normal chores to do, this includes an ironing mountain. Have managed to get our bed stripped and bedding changed - bedding I took off is now on the line - hope it dries today.
DS2 now doesn't have many exams left, so is on study leave - so is going in for revision classes and exams only - he's also started looking for a part time job that he can continue whilst he's at college - not going to be an easy task - don't think he realises how bad it is out there.
Keep safe and well x

Good morning Halight and everyone,
Halight, wonderful to have you back so quickly but do take it easy.
Julie, good wishes for you today, you will be running round in no time.
Molly, hope the transfusion peps you up.
A little more overcast this morning but another dry and sunny day forecast which means lots more watering at the allotment. It was lovely just to sit and look at everything when I had finished watering yesterday, not usually warm enough to sit still for long.
Off to follow dd to garage in a minute to drop off her car. More expense
Ten years, try not to worry about the presentation. It will be over in a flash when you do it and the anticipation is always worse than the actual event.
Take care all.0 -
Morning all,
Halight glad to see you back and recovering!:j
I still feel as though someone is sitting on my ribs, but hopefully the anti-biotics will start kicking in today. I am taking 3000mg a day for 10 days, that should shift it!:rotfl:
Just sat in the sun and read yesterday. I have to go to the dentist today to fix a broken tooth, then home again for more sun! I am so dark now, I keep being asked where I've been on holiday:rotfl:
Not eating a lot, but I don't seem to be losing any weight:mad:
DD went for a scan yesterday. Baby fine, and it is a boy, so she will have one of each.:T
Molly hope the transfusion goes okay. I gave 29 pints till I got MS, then I was told I couldn't give it any more.
Have a great day all!I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Plans today - paid for gardening - its for a neighbour who cant manage it any more, she pays me to cut her grass, do the borders etc, once a week from April/May till Sept/Oct [all very weather dependant!!]
Also need to go out and get DS a footie goal for the garden and set it up for him for when he gets out of school and that means the grass needs to be cut so yet again housework will take a back seat :]]

Son has gone to college today. He breaks up soon. He needs to give himself a shake up and decide what courses he is taking next year. At his age I was married and pregnant (reality kicked in pretty quick for me) but he seems intent on letting life go sailing past instead of grabbing the world by both hands.

Morning all!
Halight, glad to see you, but take it easy!
Julie, hope all goes well for you today!
Molly, hope he transfusion helps pep you up!
Hilstep, feel better soon.
Well, MIL's sister had her op, came round from the anaesthetic and didn't recognise her hubby, the hospital sent for him at 6.30am today as she is very hallucinated, paranoid and very agitated. Although the anaesthetic won't have helped I suspect that things have been much worse at home than he is letting on. They live so far away from the whole family, and MIL is so worried!
Need to take MIL for her yearly mammogram this afternoon, she was panicking about going as it is at the hospital OH was in, so another tricky day ahead, never a dull moment here! WM is on with a load of jackets to make the most of the sunshine!
Right, better get myself in the shower and get something out of the freezer for dinner, have a good day all!RIP Iain

BM is on, DW to be emptied, cleaning to be done upstairs. Taking my mum clothes shopping in a moment, she hates going but when I take her and act like personal shopper she finds it better
Not sure what's for tea yet as I am fasting.
Not much else going onmight make a cake later if I get chance, got a chicken to cook and strip so might as well use the oven heat to my advantage
Halight so glad you're home :T Agree about the lack of see views, the QE isn't exactly at the Rivera :rotfl:
Hilly boy 3000mg?! If that don't kill it off nothing will
Hester hugs and positive vibes for Thursday xxx
Hugs and spoons all round xI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
All will be well in the end. If it's not well, it's not the end.Be humble for you are made of earth. Be noble for you are made of stars0 -
Halight lovely to have you back safely within your harem
Julie Best wishes for today x
Molly I can't give blood anymore either but my two young adults  have just started to. I hope you feel a lot better later x
Very cloudy here but they say it should brighten up later, good job that I haven't any washing to do.
Not going out today because I am waiting for some parcels to arrive. So it is going to be a pottering sort of day, taking a lot of care that I don't hit my poor toesies again _pale_
