Hi chums, just popped by for five minutes .i've been quite industrious this morning
    ironing all done
    Brownies made
veg peeled and prepped for dinner tonight
    big box of cheese grated
Just going to have some soup and crackers for lunch then feet up and relax before the afternoon school run
Weather has turned out really nice at the moment ,so nice that I even stuck andother small wash on with some cushion covers and my knitted blanket that usually goes over my knees in the evening Its blowing enough to get it dry by late afternoon easily. So this afternoon I shall do nothing for an hour or so as a treat for myself
Hope Halight is relaxing as well and doesn't over do it.I had a call from the hospital I am seeing my consultant next Monday re my breast re-construction so hopefully it will be around September that I will start to look less lop-sided than I do at the moment .My eldest DDs not keen on me having it done but the youngest said you go for it Mum why not if it makes you feel better about yourself. But no way is Mikey getting my prosthetic one to use as a football as he wants :):):)

Halight welcome home, mate - good to see you posting! Make sure you rest up and recuperate - otherwise Aunty Wolfy might have to come over and sit on you!:D

I have a blood transfusion and iron transfusion tomorrow. I am very grateful to all of you who donate blood as it makes a huge difference to me:T
Best of luck with these, Molly; I hope they make you feel heaps better. Sadly I'm not allowed to give blood - they don't want it from Lupies.:( Actually, I don't think they'd accept someone who faints at the very sight of a needle, but it's a moot point.:(

    Hester non carborundum illegitematus!;)

    Julie good luck today.

Oh flip, I've forgotten everything else.... brainfog, plus Mr LW calling me while I'm typing my post just to tell me he's been to Mr M's and bought a carton of milk.:D This was scheduled, he took the cool-box with ice packs in with him this morning, and I told him to put a reminder in his phone, but still he needs to call to tell me he's done it. Bless!:A

A bit cooler today - I needed my coat on for the dogs' tennis ball throwabout this morning, but it's so far stayed dry - good thing, as there's three pairs of Mr LW's jeans out on the whirligig!:o

ETA just remembered one thing I was going to say - JackieO - tell young Mikey he really doesn't want the "booby" prize.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Booby prize made me laugh. I'm sure all males are obsessed with boobs. My youngest sat looking at the Bravissimo catalogue yesterday!

Why isn't your DD keen for you to have the op done jackie?

    Must be a hormone thing.:D

Typical woman, looking at the bras in the catalogue, typical male looking at the boobs that are inside them.:D

Sounds "normal" to me, though I prefer a hands-on approach! :rotfl:

    Afternoon all,

Well I'm back home with a huge bandaged leg. Everything went very well. It was a big tear in my cartlidge which they've sorted hopefully. Was not too bad with the general anaesthetic other than being a bit sick and fainting when they got me up to do the stairs before I left:o I am a bit of a fainter:rotfl: anyway after another hour lying down and some anti sickness meds I was sent home with my exercises to do. Feel ok just a bit drowsy and sickly but nothing major. Leg feels very sore but only to be expected. I will follow what they say and be back to normal in no time, just relieved its sorted. Thank you for all your kind wishes they helped enormously:D
halight wow can't believe your home and back posting already. I think you are very brave, hope you recover quickly, remember lots of rest.
Molly hope to goes well today. I always give blood when I can, I'm
O rhesus negative which apparently only 7% of the population are so I always think doubly important I give blood.
Bit of brain fog so can't remember much else. Hopefully will be back in the land of living tomorrow after a good nights sleep x

    Afternoon everyone
Julie, so glad your op went well.
Molly I hope the transfusion make you feel loads better.
LOL, LW, I'll try not to.
Well I didn't make it to work today, my IBS kicked in big time & I scared the bejeebers out of hubby when I passed out, lol. I went back to bed, got up at 2, had a shower and now feel more or less human.
    Hugs Hester
