Wow, finally finished my ebaying for the evening. I managed to get 10 items listed, some were re lists but the majority were new things to go. A lot of it is winter stuff, snowsuits etc. I hope I haven't listed too early.
Today has been a lovely family day today and all the children have been well behaved and lovely:D we went out for lunch at cafe rouge paid for with clubcard vouchers, it just cost us £5 for drinks:T we then went to the big city library which is great, lots of activities for the kids including a story time. They all had such a lovely time there they didn't want to go home.
We then popped into dunelm to get oilcloth for my dining chairs and we treated the dog to a new blanket for her bed...we gave her a bath this morning so we couldn't have her rolling around in her smelly old one :rotfl: all in all it's been a lovely LSD.
Mr C and I have just finished the other half of our take away from the other day and we're just watching Harry potter with dd1 as she's just finished the book. She's not allowed to watch the film until she's read the book:cool:
Tomorrow should be a NSD apart from TKD, we're off to my parents for lunch and I'm taking a crumble for pud:T

Evening, just a quick update today as not much has happened. It's been a NSD as dd1 didn't go to TKD. We went to my folks and had a lovely Sunday lunch, we took a plum and blackberry crumble for pud. We then went to visit Mr c's grandma and got fed tea and choccie biscuits:D
I'm feeling quite pleased with myself this evening as I made dd2 a little drawstring bag to keep her ballet shoes in, she's so pleased with it and it didn't cost me a penny as I had all the a material in:T
Left overs for dinner tonight, tomorrow i need to make leek and potato soup and a steak and ale pie. I also have a lot of housework to do so should be a busy day. I need to go out for a run too as i didn't have time today.

Hello, today seems to be looking like a LSD, had to send Mr C out for milk this morning and got dd's ballet lesson this afternoon to pay for but that should be it.
I have to say I'm feeling extremely frustrated today. I can't remember the last time I had a break from the kids and I have so much that I want to and never get chance to do. I Know that it comes with the territory of being a SAHM but I really need a break. To top it all off I've just had to collect dd1 home from school as she's not feeling very well:(
Saying that I had a fairly productive morning, I've made leek and potato soup, the pie filling, done some laundry and had a friend pop round. I think getting my sewing machine out yesterday has made me want to do more of that stuff. I want to make a draught excluder and a door curtain as well as some bunting for Ds's room.
It was extremely chilly this morning, I think we might need to start having the heating come on in the mornings now. I'm pleased we've made it this far without having the heating on though. With not being on mains gas it's a pretty expensive way of heating the house.
Time for ballet now

Hi Crumpets. Thanks for explaining chocolate bingo for me. Might make my version as a game for a wet afternoon Chez MoneyMission! You can never have too much chocolate!

Hi Crumpets - hope you're less fed up. All your hard work with NTC sale has paid off. Why don't you treat yourself with the money instead of OP...not very MS, but you have had a busy time. I always think that when the nights draw in there is even less hours to cram things in, and sometimes getting out and about is more difficult.
We are on oil heating here, and even though we belong to an oil buying group it is still v.expensive.0 -
Moneymission I thought the same, I'm going to get a bingo game to put under the Christmas tree as a family present. It was really good fun:D
Hi Arkers, thanks for stopping by. I did get my treat today, I had a lovely hour long facial today and it was absolute bliss. Just what i needed, an hour just lying down with no disturbances, I think I actually nodded off on a couple of occassions:cool: it was a definite extravagance at £40 but we need some treats or we wouldn't be able to carry on living the lifestyle we do.
This afternoon the sun came out so Ds, dd and I went out in the garden, we picked the last of the raspberries (Ds ate most of them) and cut the canes down, picked a huge bowl of tomatoes from the green house and about 8 sticks of rhubarb. The raspberries are now in a jelly, the rhubarb is in the freezer and the tomatoes will be made into chutney tomorrow :T
I also have 2 of my dining chairs painted and ready to wax, just 2 more to go and then I can recover the seats and start sitting on them again:rotfl: so it's been a pretty good day today:T
Mr c had just gone to te$co to get a few bits pieces and hopefully he's gone at the right time to get some ys bargains.

Evening,
It's been a LSD today with only £2 spent on playgroup today. It was so cold and miserable today that when I got home I had to put the heating on for an hour, it was the first time this season so I'm really pleased to have got this far in the year without putting it on.
While Ds was having his snooze I made tomato chutney and managed to fill 10 jars :T really pleased with that and it is extremely yummy. I just need some nice cheese to go with it:) I also managed to get one of my dining chairs completely finished...only 3 to go:eek:
Dd1 had her lunch box broken today at school so I need to have a trip to the shops to buy a new one. i also need to get a few bits and pieces for the shoe box appeal that school are doing as well as a long sleeve running top as it's chilly chilly now, and only 2 days to go until the race for life :j
Just watching Grand Designs and someone just paid £60k on windows:eek: good grief, that's half my mortgage!
