Where to buy cheap fabric for sewing / fabric remnants?

I second Abakhan, brilliant place and there are a fair few stores around the North West, I'm in Devon but have visited friends in Preston and was blown away by the choices and prices.. I also bought some fabric in their new year sale online.

Can I just say thank you to jovichick for posting this thread and to DomRavioli for the name and especially Gina of course! for saying they are online.

It's been years and years since I made any clothes for myself but have been finding it increasingly difficult to find suits I like. I've seen a pattern and some material on their site that I really like and think it may just be time to get the sewing machine out for something other than curtain repairs/making/adaptations!

Hi there OP do live near an ikea they sell a really cheap ivory material, I often get materials from there.

As MSE have deleted it they must have thought it was spam too.
