Funny how they're not saying what caused the outage. If it was a straight forward outage they would have admitted it.
Hardware and/or redundancy failure I imagine. What difference would it make anyway if they told you what it was?

An outage is rarely 'straight forward' as the cause, rather than the effect, can take time to find.

And they usually have alternative ways of accessing the internet, like you appear to have, rather than having to pop into an internet cafe and pay extra. :)

It hasn't affected me greatly today, but if it had been on Sunday, when I avoided two major traffic jams from the traffic info downloaded to my phone's satnav software, it would have been annoying.

And I expect there are people failing to avoid traffic today, or without other useful mobile services.

Threes response to this has been appalling- ignoring questions and giving no information! Some people DON'T have any other access to the Internet and it caused us a lot of problems!

Be thankful 3 customers, Orange/TMob/EE who network seems still in bits 2 years later, o2/Voda seem to deliberately sabotage since running
each others networks in different paerts of UK...no internet ? try no calls and texts....
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)
  • I'm on Three and not had any internet for SEVEN weeks!
My call and text services are also affected.
I have called them every week, to be roof that "rest assured, you will get services back within 7 days".
They won't allow me to speak to a manager.
I know it's not the phone because it works everywhere else.

Three aren't playing fair by keeping me in a contract when they can't provide.
If I didn't pay my bill, they'd be quick in cutting me off! (Which I totally agree with)
Any tips on getting out of my contract?

I'd jump ship but need my PAC as it's a work phone and have a billion business cards with my number on :/

    Any ideas?

Is it just me who read the headline and wondered why it was such big news if only 3 people were affected? :o
