In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. I will concur - there seems to be an awful lot of new flats around my area (le2/le3) that are struggling to go and have been lowered by 5-10%.
Over supply me thinks0 -

Yet they say there is a shortage of housing.
How can this be?
Do they mean affordable housing?
And does that mean that all other housing is un-affordable?
Pray, tell us my aged friendWhenthemusicstopsmakesureyou'renotleftstanding0 -
Quick example....
06 Apr 2007 Price £450,000
30 Apr 2007 Price £325,000
09 May 2007 Price £295,000
That is one hell of a reduction - £155,000 in a month.
Another example
21 Apr 2007 £550,000
05 May 2007 £500,000
12 May 2007 £350,000.
200 grand in 3 weeks....
The first on the list has dropped £70,000 in two months and looks worse because it is going to auction and now has a guide price.0 -

What are these figures he quotes?
Do you think he is a banker.
or maybe a w**ker.
Does he know the secret do you think?
The one that both delights and horrifies all who hear it.
