Afternoon all
I have a meeting on Thursday morning to discuss my shortcomings, sorry, my ideas for improving my department.
I've already explained that the 'clutter' that the Head doesn't like in my room is nothing to do with me but has been left there whilst work is carried out in other areas of the school. Heyho, whatever I say/do it will make little difference, they want 2 of us out & will get their own way eventually. I shall hang on as long as I can, but it will be stressful.
I'm so glad to hear Halight is doing well.

Hester all you can do is put your point across calmly, firmly and as tactfully as you can and make some notes of everything that has been bugging you over the next day or so, it might be good just to get a few things off of your chest. I will keep my fingers crossed for you on Thursday ((((((Hugs))))))

Too many of you to mention but thank you so much for the support. My son has offered to put all the bullet points onto a PP slide show for me if he can have a takeaway :rotfl: I can manage that! I'm going to get all the info together tomorrow so I can try PP myself and then ask him if I get stuck.

I've got my structure sorted, I like bullet points anyway and I tend to summarise that way. All the ideas you've suggested fit in nicely with the way I think! From chatting to the interviewer today, who is my current boss, they would like pp but they know I don't do it. It can only work in my favour to show that I've learnt it. I also bumped into the lead research nurse today who gave me some tips and some useful things to include.

Cancelled the majority of my magazine subscriptions and started sponsoring two girls with Compassion!

Super excited about it - I can't believe how much money I wasted on magazines when I could have been spending it in a much more worthwhile way. Eeeek excited! Have been out buying stickers today!
