    Hi Neil49 & pepdavies,
Is there not a minimum top up amount you have to add per month using Ovivo? Have had a look at their site and it does seem a great set up they have all right.

    regards,

I found GiffGaff to be very unstable with their systems going down on a regular basis and they have no call centre backup.

    + 1. Cowboys.

    +2 technically useless cowboys.

If you can find a 3Pay sim anywhere, the 30 day £5 internet add on also has a 2GB allowance.

giffgaff do not pretend to have call centre backup, that's made perfectly clear. But the agent messaging system works well in my experience, and the small issue I had when porting my number in was dealt with efficiently within 24 hours.
If you want regular 'hand holding' CS then agreed, you'll do better elsewhere.
They're ultimately under Telefonica, so 'cowboys' is hardly fair.

Agree! I don't get peoples CS obsession, I was with O2 for donkeys years and the ONLY time I ever needed to ring them was for a PAC code.

Same with GiffGaff I can't imagine why I would need to call them either, the website tells you what's going on and they are very good now at sending you a text if there are any issues.

By the way, £10 Goodybag subscribers are getting their 250 minutes doubled to 500 on bags bought 12th June 2013 to 31st Oct 2013 - Summer promotion.

    +1 for Ovivo.
Family of 5 here on it. ;)
No minumum monthly top-up. (I have used .... 22p of credit since January! :D )
    Top-ups from £5.
UK call centre .... COMPETENT and helpful.:j:j
    Also on Facebook/ Twitter.

Was with Giffgaff before .... had frequent problems and (sorry macman and sillygoose) found the online agent service poor; they couldn't help with my problem AND took their sweet time in responding.
