Hello! Sorry I've not been very good at posting! :o

Glad Ben's doing well and even doing some boobie feeding, although just seen on FB that he's got a cold so hoping he's on the mend soon!

My little fella is suffering with something, he's really snotty and I just don't know if it's a cold or just teething or even hayfever?! Babies are so hard to figure out! :p

His first tooth appeared yesterday! Don't know if it's a coincidence but he's been wearing an amber anklet for weeks and this tooth appeared with no fuss... the anklet fell off and got lost on Saturday and we've had 2 bad days with him clearly in pain! I've got a replacement on the way and hoping it is magic and he's happy again, and we don't have any more 2 hour bedtime struggles! :o He also had his first try of baby rice today which went well. So mad that my little dude is old enough for all of this!

How is little Robin getting on Lara? :) He is such a beautiful little thing with amazing hair!

Hope you're doing OK and healing Wendz. ((hugs))

Vegas looks awesome Cinny! Glad you enjoyed it and how exciting about going back next year! You're going to be like us with Orlando... every time we look at holidays we say 'Well, if I'm going to be on a plane for 9 hours it might as well be to Florida' and 'Well, for only a couple of hundred quid extra we might as well just go to Florida!' :p Needless to say, we're planning a trip there at the back end of next year! :D

Hope Ben is doing ok. Saw that he has a cold, hope he is better soon.

Don't stress about the money stuff Dinah, is going to be tight as you say but you have more important things to be worrying about.

Loving all the pictures of Zach Birdie, especially the dressing up outfits. Aww about his first tooth. I never used it but I heard ashton and parsons powder is supposed to be really good.

I am doing Ok thank you! Got a few things to look forward to in next few weeks which helps. First wedding anniversary in less than 2 weeks, can't believe it has been a year!

Poppy is moving up to the pre-school room in a couple of weeks at nursery which is the last room before school eek. She has a little polo shirt to wear so looks really cute!

I did start writing a post yesterday at work, but decided to... do work half way in  and when I came back onto le internet it had vanished. Rudeness!!

That must have been difficult for you Wendz, how is everyone doing? Keep thinking of you and hoping you're doing well xx eta: Can't believe it's almost been a year since you got married, I feel so old when I say it but I have no idea where the time's going recently!

Hope Ben is better soon, so awful seeing little babies all sickly :( How's he doing? Shame about the mortgage but will it something you could reapply for once the debt has been paid off?

Fingers crossed that replacement comes soon, Birdie! Although I can't believe for one second that he's anywhere near old enough for any of that kind of stuff. No way no how. Was in Primark over the weekend and they had this amazing Olaf and Sven top, was so angry it was in the "young boys" section or I would have got one for him!

I was thinking the exact same about it becoming our Florida :D We were looking at a few days at Euro Disney for our anniversary but when we'd factored everything in we thought "add another couple hundred and that's a week in Vegas" :p So we "settled" (not at all settling, I'm so excited!) on a trip to WB Studios instead :T So excited for you looking at going next year, Zach is one lucky baby! (assuming you're taking him ;))

Zach can't be old enough to have teeth Birdie! In my mind he's still brand new! And as for Poppy going to pre-school... Please can we all just stop getting older?! ;)

Glad to hear you're doing OK Wendz, have you got anything nice planned for your anniversary? I'm in denial about ours!

OH and I are desperate to go back to America too, he has finally secured a more permanent job after being made redundant and temping for six months, much better pay too so really super proud of him. Need to buckle down and get rid of this last bit of CC debt and then we can plan a new adventure :)

Hope Ben and Zach are both feeling better soon.

We are going out for a nice meal together and maybe a couple of drinks. SIL is having Poppy overnight so will get a good night sleep as well :) although doubt she will with a 8 month old of her own as well ! Do you think you will do something Shrimpy?

That is great news about your OH job.

Cinny - we are all doing OK. I feel fine most the time but little things can upset me.

So exciting you might be doing vegas again! I wanted to do vegas for my 30th but got to try and squeeze another baby in before.

We're going for a meal too with some of the family, with our brother in law and his sister (Is she also our sister in law? so confusing!) and their OH's, it's both of their birthdays around the same time so a joint celebration.

We went to Eurodisney for my 30th, feels like forever ago now! It was great but absolutely freezing, Vegas sounds like a much better bet!

Sounds like lovely anniversary plans!! OH casually mentioned us getting married and then said he potentially wanted to plan our anniversary this year so I'm feeling a little _pale_ I want to go to Harry Potter Land not get married gdi!!

Can imagine Vegas would be amazing for a big birthday, I know I've never been to America before - or many places really - to compare it too but I've got to say I really doubt there's anywhere on earth quite like it! Going back in Spring is still on the cards, but I'm pushing to go in April when we can fly from Manchester again. It's roughly £200 more but when you factor in having to pay for parking at Gatwick plus hotels either side and extra care for Ryder it's actually cheaper to wait.

That's great news about your OH's work, Shrimpy :) Other than the obvious excitement of planning adventures it must be a relief for the money side of things!

Just been looking at the weather for the weekend and it looks insane! I'm so confident OH will want to do a BBQ I'm tempted to just go get the stuff before everyone goes wild at the weekend and all the burgers vanish ;) Does anyone have any plans? :)

I might have to buy a new paddling pool tomorrow as ours is broken but can't get one too big as no outside tap and will take hours to fill up with a bucket haha.

Saturday was hoping to go to the zoo but is looks like it might be raining but then again it said it would last weekend and it was pretty nice.

How's Ben doing? I met a 5lb baby this weekend and she seemed the tiniest thing ever, was trying to picture how little he must be.

So glad you loved vegas cinny! I went twice in quick succession and would like to go back sometime.

I go away for a few weeks and when I come back there are two new babies on the thread. Welcome to the world Robin and Ben! Glad to hear both are doing well.

Sorry to hear your news Wendz. A close friend of mine lost a baby last week and its just so heartbreaking seeing her in so much pain emotionally. Big hugs for you.

Sounds like you had a great time in Vegas Cinny. I've always wanted to go but it may be on the list for the future.

Hope everyone else is doing well. I've not been around much as my dad was diagnosed with cancer so I've been caught up in all that entails. He had his second operation 2 weeks ago and is going to get his results tomorrow to see if he needs further treatment but fingers crossed that they got it all. Wedding planning has obviously taken a back seat but we're starting to think about a honeymoon - Florida, well Disney for a week and a few days in New York. I have absolutely no idea where to start with booking a Disney holiday so may need a bit of advice from Birdie on this one!

Hope everyone is keeping well and remember to stay hydrated in this ridiculously hot weather.
