Did everyone have a nice weekend? Weather was horrific on Saturday but we still had a good time, ended the day £50 up (after drinks and food) so I'm being sent to get our first lot of dollars with it today! Spent yesterday pottering, well I was sat on the sofa complaining my lower back was hurting and taking naps. OH was gardening and cooking, sorting laundry.. *ahem*

Sorry it was mixed news Dinah, but so glad the pregnancy is continuing for the moment. Hopefully the cord flow will stay the same or improve and proteins will not reappear. It must be worrying for you though, I hope you're not feeling too stressed out. Fingers crossed for the 30 week goal - maybe you should make another one, for 32 weeks?

I don't mind queue jumping but hope your little boy stays put for his own good News from the Drs today is that the head is less engaged than last time! But I'm feeling well so no rush. I'm just too hot at the moment, it's such muggy horrible weather here, we could do with a big storm. First day of maternity 'leave' here, lots of sewing to do. Nice to have no stupid deadlines.

The friend drama is just a messy break-up! This is the guy who came on holiday with us last year and was on/off with his wife until about April. He's been seeing this other woman since last summer though and we've known the whole time, apparently his wife knew (and put it about a bit too...) but we don't know how much she really knew. He's now moved in this this other woman after having about 6 weeks living alone and she's got 2 kids so I think they're crazy, it's way too soon! She seemed nice enough but I honestly don't get it, they don't seem to have anything in common apart from a shared desire to do the nasty whilst they're supposed to the working! She's going to our friends' wedding on Saturday (instead of the wife...) and I think it's a bit mental really, she hasn't met the bride and groom, doesn't know anyone and his ex wife is going to see her in the photos since all the girls are still friends with her on FB! Urgh, feel really stuck in the middle!

Have a great time, Archers!! I saw your pic of all the sunscreen on instagram, totally feel you on that one. We've bought a little carry-on sized bottle of 30 to literally get me from the plane, to my sisters car, to walmart when we get to Vegas so I can stock up.

Starting a "cleanse" today. My friend is going on a gluten free diet and I said I'd go along for moral support so it's a 10 day cleanse, followed by a purely raw diet before Vegas (when I get to cheat my entire face off) :A:A:A

29+0 today, baby boy still hanging in there. Another scan tomorrow, fingers crossed things are no worse again.

Had horrendous ear ache/jaw pain/tooth ache since Sunday, thought it might be a reaction to the steroids for the baby, but saw a doc on tuesday who said it was an ear infection and it would clear up on its own in a few weeks. By last night I couldn't eat anything and I was just crying in pain, so went back today and she gave me antibiotics to just sort it out, very glad as I've been completely focussed on the pain rather than the pregnancy, Grace, anything at all.

No money news, well sort of money news in that we have none! NIM has had to cancel about £400+ worth of shifts in the last fortnight to be home with me when I've not been well, and it's certainly made a difference to the baby and my bp, but I'm getting scared how we're going to pay our bills this month. Next month should be fine as he'll have his contract money from the NHS which will be over £3k. I'm just trying not to think about it, it will get paid even if we have to use the overdraft and I'm not worrying about anything extra atm.

Sorry to hear about the pain and money woes, Dinah! Last thing you need right now, and I know it's difficult but just throw your head in the sand over the money. It's not worth the stress atm. If I had the time and someone to look after Ryder I'd be up in a shot to help out, help Grace count straws and idk, dust something or do the ironing. If you need anything just let me know! Keeping everything crossed for you right now.

Had a lasagna and chips for tea last night, my friend got her test results back and a gluten free diet won't solve her problems so I'm off the cleanse hook! Would anyone like some lemons?!

Officially 2 weeks until Vegas We've got everything sorted now bar our travel card, but OH is sorting that today. Also tried on the too-tight dress and it zips up fine now so I'm happy, I'll just have to make sure it's worn on one of the first days there

Morning ladies, I've just seen on Facebook that there is a new arrival in our midst - it seems Dinahs visit to hospital yesterday didn't go as planned but all seems well. Congratulations and fingers crossed he is healthy guys xx
