You are doing great! Each day is an achievement.

Oh no about Grace, hope she feels better soon. Poor thing.

Growth scan again today, fingers crossed he's still happy. Several people have said my bump has grown massively this week so I hope that means he has too. Have made my consultant a cake to celebrate getting me past 28 weeks :D

Urgh I feel sick, as though by going alone I'm tempting fate or something.

I have a really good feeling about this pregnancy Dinah, just like Tink :) Don't be nervous, everything will be fine! How's Grace doing?

And happy full-term, Lara! So excited for you :D

How is everyone? Any plans for the weekend? It's race day for us tomorrow, looking forward to a day of no exercise :A Lost 5lb so far, but I'm sure most of that's down to just drinking more water. 6lb to lose in the next 3 weeks to get to where I want to be, but as long as I can fit into one too-tight lipsy dress I'll be happy!

Hope growth scan goes well :).

Enjoy the races Cinny, will be a great day.

We are off to Spain Sunday so need to get packing and sorted. Also got poppys gymnastics today and she has a party tomorrow afternoon. Frantically trying to get all the washing done but at least the sun is out today to dry it :).

How did it go Dinah? I hope it was all brilliant news. I'm sure your consultant will be super chuffed with his cake :D

Cinny - have fun at the races! It sounds like a lot of fun. Have you been exercising loads lately? It's lovely to feel active and good in summer dresses.

Tomorrow we're off out to lunch to a nice restaurant, and I'm very excited. We've blown the budget this month but it is our last gasp of freedom. Other than that some chilling out and DIY. My maternity work break starts Monday - can't wait to have time to do silly bits in the house.

Wendz, you must be mega excited about holidays. Whereabouts are you heading? Hope you have a really lovely time.

Hi CMD, how are you doing?

I went for my fortnightly growth scan today, and this one wasn't good news. While it could have been worse he's only gained around half the weight he should have in the last 2 weeks, and the flow through the cord is encountering significant resistance, which is why he's not gaining as much weight as he should. While I was there I also had +1 protein so they took full bloods, but the obvious assumption was I am developing pre-e again, so my obstetrician gave me the steroid injection as there is a good chance he's coming in the next week. However when I got home he called up very surprised to be able to tell me that my blood tests were normal. I was so happy I may have told him I loved him. There is still a chance I'll have to deliver soon if the flow through the cord gets worse, or if I do go on to develop pre-e, but for now he's hanging in there. So I go back tomorrow for my second dose of steroids, and then Monday for another growth scan, and we'll just take it from there. My goal continues to be getting to 30 weeks, although it now looks like I may limp there rather than sail across the line as I hoped.

Sorry it wasn't great news at the scan but glad that it's not as bad as it could have been. :) It's good that this time there's a lot happening pro-actively. Just hang in there little man! :)

Just to make you ladies off on nice holidays jealous, we booked our holiday last night. 3 nights in a cottage near Bridlington at the end of July, oh yeah! :p Just hope we have nice weather so we can take the Dude to the beach! :)

Hope everyone has a nice weekend! We're not up to much today and just meeting a friend and his new girlfriend/mistress tomorrow (pfft... how many times will I accidentally say something about cheaters, I wonder?! ;))
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!
