True but if you treat it as an alternative to the coffee shop opposite rather than the kettle it does actually save money. Mine has saved me a small fortune in costa. it costs around 25/50p(1 or 2 pods) a cup as opposed to £2.15 for a small latte. the staff must think they've offended me! x

you cant use lidl pods in the tassimo , you can use them in the philips senseo, you can also get a coffee duck around £8 so you can use any ground coffee in the senseo like Costa ground coffee ! , far far cheaper than the tassimo

Just got my email though, thought I would post the T&C's for those of you registering in hopes of getting codes.

Terms and Conditions
Only the first 55,000 UK resident registered Coffee Club Card members who clicked through to register will receive a unique code. Memeber must have been registered by midnight on Friday 31st May 2013 to receive this email.
Upon registering unique codes will be issued on a daily basis up until 20th June 2013.
Tassimo T4 Machines will be available at the promotional offer price of £30.00 (including delivery charges).
Upon receiving the unique code you will have 14 days to redeem it before it becomes invalid.

I got my email today :-) can't wait as i've wanted a pod machine for such a long time. The Delonghi espresso machine is excellent but time consuming. Will keep both though, because i'm greedy like that :beer:
