Now that's a good point - although I said in the original post that this was a Tassimo T20, it turns out that it is actually a T40!

I have looked again at the email I received and it does say (in tiny weeny text) that it is a T40 (black), whereas the previous offer in November was the T20. There doesn't seem to be a great deal of difference according to the Tassimo website, except for a bigger water tank (2L instead of 1.5L):

I also originally received an email last November but there were only a limited number of machines & I missed getting one. I got the email from Tassimo on Monday morning, ordered one straight away & it arrived Tuesday lunchtime.
I'd received a text beforehand to say it was being delivered, so bought some Costa Americano discs on my way home so that I could try it straight away! (After running the necessary easy cleaning routine).
Registering the serial number online then results in a discount code for £20 (sent by email) off a min spend of £25 on their website. Spend £30 & get free postage (then the discount is applied)
(BTW Loved the Costa Americano & just warmed some skimmed milk in the microwave & whisked with mini battery whisk & it was a great cup of frothy coffee!)
Can't wait to try all the other varieties I've ordered (especially the hot chocolate!)

Don't give up hope. Those of us who received codes this week had pre-registered for the offer last November when the machines ran out.

In the post by Sasari above (3 days ago) Costs is reported to have confirmed on their Facebook page that " Every registered coffee club card member will be receiving the promotional email. These are being sent out over the next week so as long as your card is registered you will be receiving the offer - Adam"

It may be that they haven't even started sending those out yet to give the pre-registered people from last year a chance to order.
