Great news about Halight. So pleased he is back in recovery.

Hilstep oh dear. Hope you get better soon. Many hugs.

Looks like ive been given the 'space' I so badly need tonight. 'Youngest' has gone out and the 'Girls' are sleeping soundly downstairs. Looks like that little walk in the sun tired them out.

Glad to hear that halight's op went well :T:T:T and that he has still got the cheek of the devil about him donny-gal, thanks for letting us all know :D

Hilly try to rest, pneumonia is no laughing matter

Had a bit of an accident today, DH was supposed to take some bits down for the school fete on Saturday and one of the heaviest boxes dropped on my blurdy toe, this was followed by a lot of fluffing and hollyhocks :p then as I was hopping around I caught the other toe on the desk  _pale_ this created yet more expletive deletives. And now they are just throbbing :(

Julie I hope all goes well on Wednesday, what are you having done exactly?

    Hi Butterfly Brain,

It's to trim the cartlidge in my knee, Its called an Arthroscopy I think:o. They are pretty sure I've torn my cartlidge which is giving me awful pain but my mum has terrible arthritis and has had one knee replacement and is waiting to have the other done, so will they are in there will have a good luck as its difficult to tell from an X-ray.
Fingers crossed they can fix it and I will be back to normal soon x

You will be fine I have had that done three times, just be prepared that you will be on crutches for some weeks and you must do your excercises even though it can be quite sore, just get some good painkillers like cocodamol etc. You will be seen by a physiotherapist who will show you how to use the crutches and how to go up and down stairs and to do your exercises properly before you are allowed home. It is quite a bulky bandage and you can go back to a desk job within a couple of weeks at the most, but if you have to do any form of walking, standing or lifting it could take up to 6 weeks

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Just back from being busy all day. Have ds2 and gf for tea which is fine, I've made a quick chilli, in my mind I thought we could have the chocolate chip cookies I made yesterday morning for pud.
Now bearing in mind I made 40. Took ten to our friends along with a cake, so that leaves 30 in the tin, wrong, ds3 has had his friends round this afternoon after finishing theirs biology exam. None, not a single blooming one left in the tin! Now I'm flattered they enjoyed them but honestly have they all got hollow legs. Mind you six big lads over six foot why am I surprised. At least he thinks the exam went well.

Not at all surprised - when i make cakes they disappear and all is left - a few crumbs x

    Good luck for wednesday.

Wish I knew when I was going in x
