fine at work... disciplinary threat

I have received a fine, which reading many posts I'm happy to ignore. However an e mail has been sent to all staff saying parking fines & issues arising will be passed to managers who may take disciplinary action against offenders.
UKCPS posted the notice, I was parked in a disabled bay without displaying a blue badge. I'm a nurse parking at my hospital base.
I'm protesting at the charges for staff parking hence my parking in that space.

Look at your contract of employment. You've appealed I guess to ukcps ? On their rejection did they give you a popla verification code ?

First of all, UKCPS can't issue Fines, only mere invoices.

I've not done anything yet. Shall I just appeal?
I'm taking a stand as colleagues at other bases have free parking. I say I have had a pay cut. I did involve the union but they couldn't help. Traditionally, where I work, they are useless.
Many staff ignore the parking charges & I think because of that the hospital brought in ukcps.

Appeal like this, admit nothing . Bare in mind my signature below dont post anything that can identify yourself. This company specialise in harassing people who park in disabled bays, their main source of income comes from this

    Name
    Address

    Date

    Dear Scammers,

In regards to the invoice received with ref number xxxxxx dated xxxxxx, the keeper denies all liability to your company, if you reject this challenge the keeper requires within 35 days a popla verification code for them to appeal independently, per Version 2 of the BPA Code of Practice.

The keeper has nothing further to add, and will not respond to any correspondence from your company unless it contains the popla code. If you wish to find out why the keeper rejects all liability, pay the £27 plus vat to popla to find out

The challenge will be deemed accepted if there is no popla code on any rejection that you supply within the timeframe stipulated above.

    Yours Faithfully

I have indeed received an invoice! It's the disciplinary threat that may be something for me to be concerned about.

challenge the invoice, if they turn it down then you should get a popla code to challemnge it further.
if the popla challenge is handled correctly then it will be useful for people who are under threat of disciplinary action as a result of parking at work.

No they cannot discipline you for an alleged debt to a third party company, it would be akin of them trying to discipline you for a debt to Barclaycard. Your contract of employment would be key here, together with the parking policy of the hospital. I presume this in England yes ?

If the PPC gives details of the 'offenders' to their client isn't that a breach of the Data protection act? If they don't provide the information then your manager should never know about the issue.

Yes. England. The e mail staff received said offenders details will be obtained from dvla & passed to senior managers. My immediate line manager hs advised me to pay. My scoffing didn't go down to well... I was told I could end up in prison.
