Been out! Impromptu boozy evening! Hic!

Happy belated birthday to Fabian and Yaay to CY DD

Had a real nice evening despite having my age announced to all and sundry and bing told it was time I moved on  I gotta laugh, both were meant kindly and not at all offended as I understood the sentiment if the actual words were, ahem, a poor choice :rotfl:

Am now cosied up on mum sofa, not half as bad as it sounds, they are decorating spare room, and have a huge sofa which they've pulled cushions off and put mattress on from spare bed.

Not sure I'll be fit for much tomorrow....

Had a lovely evening last night with friends - now I must pack away the best dinner set :( and won't be unpacking it until I've got a shiny new kitchen :)

Stuff is still being decluttered. Last night one friend took 3 ice cream cartons full of frozen blackberries. Another took 2 frozen chicken breasts (we've got roast lamb leftovers to eat up, nom-nom). Another took some tulip bulbs for her garden: I had them in tubs this year - beautiful orange and pink varieties. The Scouts are going to have all my daffodils from tubs to brighten up their HQ next spring.

DH is working this afternoon so I've got to motivate him to finish the garage this morning, possibly best achieved by cooking pancakes for breakfast from the leftover Yorkshire pudding batter :rotfl:

Glad your migraine has gone, Helen.

Another fine day here. Already had my shower and I'm feeling AWESOME! Going to make the most of everything today.

I have to leave at 10 to take DD to a Birthday party and will collect my wages enroute.

    2 x HHC anyone at 10am ?

In mine I will do 1 x WM and peg it out. DONE
Empty the shed with building gibble and load it into the car, along with a broken mirror and go the the tip once DD has been dropped off. DONE
Make a shopping list to maximise the petrol outing and take advantage of B&M, Aldi and B&Q. DONE
Measure up bath panel for a piece of wooden beading. DONE
Wash the pots from last night. OH AND DS DID IT
Perhaps mop the floors if there's time.

Not read back properly but great news regarding the flybabies - do try and rest Minnie, please.

Glad you had a good night bossy - some times the best nights are the unexpected ones.

Sounds like you are very organised ionafan - when is your moving date? Can't be long now.

Hi everyone. A late first post from me - can't believe it's Saturday! I came back a few days ago fom my long weekend away - OH stayed down with relatives and is back later today - but - there was a problem with the nearby electrical station, and just after I got home, my street was nearly 24 hours without power! You don't realise how much you take things for granted - it felt so odd to have no power - no Internet! We neighbours rallied together, which was nice, and I helped out with the dogs again.

Otherwise I've had a few days if catching up with friends which has been great - and only one day in work!

Just spoken to OH and he's packing the car to get back, I've already tidied through and sorted some drawers out. Just popping out to get some fruit, salad and wild bird food - the babies are eating everything up!! I've kept the place tidy so don't need to do much more other than shower once i've mopped the kitchen and conservatory floors.

Good wishes and good health vibes all round and good news about the flybabies. I hope everyone is well and enjoying this sunshine. Long may it last! Finally, I do believe the power of Flylady works!! We visited that 'awkward' sister in law last weekend - and it was the nicest she'd ever been - this is the one where I asked for good vibes when phoning the week before. Best thing was I saw my lovely brother without any hassles.

    Back soon, R x

Mostly broken.. ~TMI~ but.... next time I moan about OH not coming near me hit me with some blunt instrument and remind me it hurts to think afterwards!

Having a cuppa then cracking on with the flinging.. School clothes have been requested for the washing machine so if they aren't down they aren't getting washed!

    Rice krispies devoured..
loo S&S'd.. I have a bottle of Cif in there so appear to have a new habit of spraying something and quickly wiping it over.. I might have to start alternating between the 2 loo's to get the bathroom sparkly too!

DW needs to be on a few times.
OH is hedge mincing today :D

I may need more wool for my blanket.. I need 80 squares and after 3 100g balls I have 24 yet the pattern stated 12 x 50g balls.. so I may need to go to the wool shop and part with more cash :(

    Hi all,

Just got home (stayed at mums last night), been to get a few more plants and bits. Feel really tired  could use a nap, but my bed isn't made. So just having some soup and then may head upstairs for a while ;)

Think I will do my gardening later in the afternoon, my skin has seen a lot of sun lately, and its still hot and intense here. Kiddies staying at inlaws tomorrow. Spoke to DD this morning (DS was too busy lol) and she said she wanted to get in bed (apparently she was up at 5.30 ) and that she had been swimming in her pyjamas ???

Apparently, because they were up so early, MIL had the sterling idea of taking them off to her gym (kiddies swim free) before dressing, haha, and took their clothes to change into after the swim. No point doing it twice, I suppose!
