LR hoovered, including sofas, cushions banged outside. DH hoping to finish painting the walls in there this weekend. I'm going to measure for a roller blind to use if we need to block the sun from the tv. I don't want to put the curtains back on a temp basis as that will stop e getting new ones.
Going to do 15 minutes dusting, putting stuff back into the cupboard and then it will be time for another cuppa. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

She couldn't find a teacher, so she pulled off the label, crossed out the incorrect name in biro and added her own name!
I am very proud of her - last year she wouldn't have said boo to a goose!
Well done to your DD2, CY.
That teacher is a goose!!!
Happy birthday to Fabian

(You'll have to take off 4 candles... perhaps return them to the hardware store? I love that sketch!)
Must go and check my gooseberry cake for tonight's final meal with friends. What a shame, that's the last of the frozen gooseberries. Oh well, we shall soon be living within reach of the Vale of Evesham. I reckon I could persuade DH to go fruit picking with me in return for more cakebut I shan't be able to bake until I get an oven

Hi all
Well hung washing out on the line this morning but then it rained!! But only a little bit so I left it out there. It was dry when I got it in at lunchtime. Managed to hang out 2nd load on the line.
After the paid stuff I managed to:
Dust BR, using the hetty attachment to dust the picture rail.
BR, LR, Stairs & Landing hettyed
Hung up some clothes in BR
Made banana bread to use up some bananas (not enough to make 2, freeze one Valli)
Made home made pizza
Watered plants
Was going to wash the garden wall again but just didn't have the energy.
CY it's nice to hear your DD has some confidence, I'm not sure I'd have been brave enough to cross out the name so kudos to
her
HB pleased that Mrs Dog is taking off where Dog left off (do you think he sent her to you? I like to think that late OH sent me DC2)
Goodnight all
