cat poop scooping

Where do you put yours?
I have two indoor moggys (soon to be three:j) and they use a litter tray, I clean out the whole thing every few days which is fine and poop scoop when nescessary,
At the moment I just use a inside out nappy bag, tie and pop in the kitchen bin until it gets taken downstairs. I live on the 2nd floor so can't just pop down to put it in the big bins outside everytime, could keep me fit but not in my jammies when they do it late at night :rotfl:
Unless my kitchen bin is emptied quickly then there is a bit of a whiff and if I pop it down the loo then I've got to carry it there and empty it without dropping it anywhere other than the loo, carrying poop around the flat doesn't appeal!
So do any other cat owners have any better solutions? I did see a special bin at zooplus but wondered if it was worth it?

Opss.. it says discontinued.... Hmmmmm
I got one here but with 4 cats (soon back to 6) not big enough (sigh) - I used to buy the foil bag fror it on Amazon, and refill the casettes, not sure if they still do it though.0 -

Has anyone tried one of these? I had a similar thing for dd's nappies when she was little, didn't help the smell much, maybe she was a whiffy baby!:hello: Hiya, I'm single mom, avid moneysaver and freecycler, sometimes  but definatly0

I use nappy sacks to scoop daily and put them into the litter locker (with a plastic bag in) - once the bag is full, I put into the outside bin .... no smells!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

I put mine into little plastic bags, tie it up and put them in the kitchen bin. It's a Brabantia so it only smells when you open the lid.0

I would highly recommend (well, my OH, who is the official Poop Scooper in my household does
) the litter champ
http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/cat_litter_litter_boxes/litter_spinner/207514
We had to get it because the smell from just 1 cat was overwhelming, we were using a spare food waste recycling bin, the ones that you keep outdoors and can be locked by lowering the handle. The whole bin stunk even after being cleaned and disinfected.
The Champ is very similar to the Locker, and works well.
The bags inside smell very strongly of some chemicals, but once they are inside the bin they are fine.
I think the main differences are that the champ has a door instead of a hole you put your hand through, and doesn't have the extra step of pulling out the plastic bit in the middle to let the waste drop.0 -
We just flush it down the loo! The litter tray is in the downstairs loo so its easiest for us.You had me at your proper use of "you're".0
