Not sure what to do here, went to my local shop in the city last week, got my drink then not many places to sit so plumped to a table already with a lady sitting reading a book, turns out we got on so well ,conversation flowed , just before she leaves she gets up and says oh by the way i am ..., i do likewise, then she says goodbye.
Now the sucker punch, i never got her contact details, i know loads about her and what her work is over next few months, well the city anyway she will be based in, one snag due to jetlag travel on the day i cannot recall her first name DOH.
I am really keen to see her again, is it worth an ad in paper maybe and hoping she sees it,appreciate thoughts...

Could you not go back to the coffee shop at same time/day previously to see if she is there again?
Bit of a stab in the dark really but if she felt a connection too she might be thinking the same (i know i would go back to meeting place if i had no other contact details).0

one snag its 80 miles away and i only visit now and again, the one thing i am wondering is ,is it the norm to introduce yourself to someone at the end like she did, it just made me think , maybe i can place an ad in paper lol
or is this too far a step
 thanks0

It'd be lovely if you ran into her again, but perhaps better let the fates decide? You could help it along by popping in to that shop when you next there of course. An ad may seem abit much, for some people anyway.0

If you don't try you certainly won't succeed!
I'd say go with the ad, but don't make it too needy. What's the worst that can happen? If she turns you down it's not as if you'll have any awkward moments when you bump in to each other, especially as she's 80 miles away.
Is she a nice daydream to remember or will you always be wondering 'what if...'0

Am I dreaming this or was there a newspaper that used to (perhaps still does?) prints an ad page for these sort of meetings?
 You know the sort of thing.....would the girl who wears a bright red coat on the 7.30 to where-ever like to have a coffee with the guy who always smiles at her....2014 Target;

I have seen them in one of the London papers, maybe the Evening Standard or Metro.0

If you bump into each other again it is meant to be but if you tracked me down i would be very spooked..It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0

            I find those adverts creepy.
And I really don't think it would work if you have to write:
"To the lady in the red coat in [name of store] on [date]. Time passed so quickly while we were chatting. I really felt a connection. Sorry, I've forgotten your name."
If it's meant to be, it's meant to be.
If you can't be arsed to travel back to your "local shop in the city" (strange description of a place that's 80 miles away, which you only visit occasionally) - and you can't remember her name - maybe it's not meant to be.0

Could ask the staff if she is a regular, they might know her?0
