    quick question
The minimum payment on my chosen credit card with the AA (mbna) is around £58. This month since the last payment I have paid more than that off and the minimum payment is due today and they haven't taken it. Does this mean they won't take it by DD out of my bank as I have already paid above the minimum ?

Just rang AA minimum payment will be taken ALWAYS even if I overpay it's going out after the 29th they say so that's that sorted :D
As of 24th August 2016 total money owed was

Regarding minimum payments - some CCs ( Tesc* and Nwide spring to mind) will reduce your DD by the amount you have overpaid except when that overpayment has been made a couple of days before DD due. I have fixed most of my DD to just above the minimum and overpayments dont affect this cos its fixed :D

thanks for the heads up Igamogam... I have a tesc* cc which is 0% at the mo..and is only taking min amount, I know it will not be long before the interest will kick in...

But I am trying to do the over payments on the other cards first.. I am hoping I can break the back of them, or even pay them all off by July if poss, and then start paying extra off a loan

my PAD payment for today is £10.00

Going to keep an eye on it to see if they do take the min payment out,as when it give me the option for the min payment or other, the min payment amount had gone down to £2.odd???

so Lloyds might be one of those who takes the over payments off the min payment maybe.. might give them a ring on Monday to find out exactly...
