Now I have bags of yog covered blackberries in my desk drawer, and cereal bars, and fruit bars ... it's harder to limit myself to one a day!!!

Oh. Yeah I've that problem too! Poundland have started doing wee bags of 'snack' sorta food. Had to laugh (or cry?!) yesterday. Choc covered raisins. It gives you calories for 25g portion. But supply you with a 150g bag. Needless to say I ate the entire bag!!:eek::rotfl:

Hence why I would recommend Graze. Yes calories may be high depending on what you're getting, but at least you can at least try to limit yourself to one portion a day!!

Sorry daisie...I know im taking your comment out of context and I read the problems you had with another thread recently...and I'm not hijacking this thread in any way....but for a woman whos been married just a short time.....surely its not time to get rid of him yet!!!!???

I must however be the only person on MSE left who's never tried a graze box!

I can't believe you are taking the OP's extremely serious food-related thread off topic and trying to twist it into a discussion of such contentious issues as early marital disharmony. Shame on you.

Or at the very least....tape yourself and send it to me. :rotfl:

What on earth are you proposing?! That sounds VERY dodgy :p :rotfl:

Firstly, they're not healthy. Not by a long shot. They're calorie laden thanks to the dried fruit, chocolate, sugar etc.

Well, the healthiness of a food is not related solely to its calorie content. Lots of low calorie food has no nutritional value in the slightest - like rice cakes, for example. Fruit and nuts have a lot of healthy fats, vitamins, and natural sugars that we need for energy. There's been a good deal of research debunking the "a calorie is a calorie" view. Our bodies process whole and natural foods completely differently than a lot of low-cal snacks created in a food lab somewhere.

The obviously unhealthy choices from Graze are the flapjacks, but mostly everything else is pretty balanced I think.

My DH, on the other hand, has piles of the empty plastic boxes on his desk, because he stockpiles them then brings them home for recycling!

I used to get them, but decided to stop them because they do work out expensive. But I never got bored of them ... I used to eat one treat a day, only sometimes I'd forget to eat one or two midweek, then I could pig out on Friday. :rotfl:

I think for us it was lack of variety; my husband signed up for the 'healthier' box (why?!) so his would get a bit repetitive and as for me, I cannot eat nuts, eggs or dairy, so that cut out a LOT of the yummy things! I am probably not the target market...:rotfl:

I can see if you are getting the full range how you could keep going with it - you probably get very few repeats from week to week!

There were certain favourites I selected 'send soon' on so I was getting repeats quite a bit. Probably part of the reason I sickened myself with the whole thing!! :p

What puts me off now is that they've gone up since I first joined. Think they were only £2.99. Almost £1 a punnet isn't cheap at all, but I did see it as a luxury :)

I'm just proposing that I need someone else to make me not do things cos I can't seem to not do things all by myself. That's all. Honest. :D

Warning Alias - they get very samey and boring as the weeks go on. I signed up after thoroughly enjoying my four free boxes. In the end, I was getting nothing but seeds. So I cancelled it.

They suck you in with lovely fruity, marshmallow bits but this doesn't last long.

The only thing that stops me getting them is that our post room are not happy about personal post and would tell me off!!
Obviously I shouldn't encourage you, but they should go through your letterbox at home, and then you could take the box in to work with you!

:rotfl: At least my yog covered fruits come in individual bags within the big bag.
