I had the freebie and got hooked, and had one a day from 2 weeks. Then I got so sick of them and now I get one every 2 weeks and it's much more exciting.

I have one every 2 weeks, it's pretty much the only post I get at uni so it's exciting. Plus its really convenient to eat in the middle of a 4 hour lecture, just pick it up and off you go :)

I tried to find a cheaper way of doing it, but couldn't find half the stuff in the boxes in the first place, let alone cheaper. It's my little luxury now.

I just signed up for them yesterday - a weekly one. Half of the office I'm working in now get them delivered and I was intrigued so clicked on the site to have a look, and yes, ordered!

Luckily I don't like dried fruit or almonds and I don't like any of their puds, so I'm not being too unhealthy there. And it's a small size of box anyway.
Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.

Same with my husband; they seemed the ideal solution for snacking at work but he used to end up with piles of them on his desk uneaten!
My DH, on the other hand, has piles of the empty plastic boxes on his desk, because he stockpiles them then brings them home for recycling!

I used to get them, but decided to stop them because they do work out expensive. But I never got bored of them ... I used to eat one treat a day, only sometimes I'd forget to eat one or two midweek, then I could pig out on Friday. :rotfl:

Now I have bags of yog covered blackberries in my desk drawer, and cereal bars, and fruit bars ... it's harder to limit myself to one a day!!!

I used to buy them for DD as they were handy to take out and about with us.

Firstly, they're not healthy. Not by a long shot. They're calorie laden thanks to the dried fruit, chocolate, sugar etc.

    Secondly, they're expensive.

So don't get hooked into weekly, fortnightly or even monthly deliveries. If you don't buy them you can't eat them.

    Move in with me? :rotfl:

Or at the very least....tape yourself and send it to me. :rotfl:

The only thing that stops me getting them is that our post room are not happy about personal post and would tell me off!! I've tried them a couple of times and they are yum.
Re being healthy - as someone else said, "healthy" snacks like dried fruit, nuts, rice crackers etc are pretty high in calories. I started counting calories a couple of months ago and was a bit gutted to realise this... some are low in fat but there seem to be very few low calorie snacks that actually taste nice :-(

You have a level of self control I could only dream of :D
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.
