08 numbers in T mobile plans
Looking to upgrade as existing T mob customer. Need to have 08 numbers included. Offers from T Mob not great. Can get better deals from CPW or Buymobilphones. Question is is it the same plan as offered by T Mob- £26 600 cross net minutes inc 08 numbers. Problem is when i speak to CPW or BMP, they say they cant confirm 08 numbers included. not sure which handset to get either- S III, Sony SP are options.
Any help would be welcome. Thanks.

I wouldn't die in a ditch over 08 numbers, there is 0800 Buster for the "free" numbers (http://www.0800buster.co.uk/). 0800 should be carried for free by mobile operators from next year according to OFCOM.
Most 0844/0845/0870 numbers have a geographic alternative, point your mobile phone's browser to http://www.saynoto0870.com/
There are Apps that offer similar functions, eg the 0870 App for iPhone that appears to give information from the above web site in a limited format. Also some companies have dial facilities within an App. an example being the LV car insurance iPhone App with a dial prompt that calls geographic numbers.0 -
The tmob 600 min plan for £26 does include 08 numbers. Hope this helps0

Have you got a source for that?
The price guide here suggests they're not:

Giffgaff have free calls to 0800 (and 0500 and 0808) numbers. I'd be surprised if any telco included 084 and 087 numbers.0 -
You may get better deals, but at the end of the day you will be on a network tariff, and it is this network that decides the cost you will pay.
Since the tariff will be broadly the same, where you purchase it from is immaterial!0 -

Yes I work @ TMobile0 -
All new T-Mobile plans (except Full Monty) include *ALL* 08xx numbers.I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0

Thanks simax this post was very useful for me. When I renewed a few weeks ago I was told that 08 numbers were not included. I was told to either purchase a bolt on or advised there was an app available.
I have been using the wq4u iPhone app for a few weeks now. An excellent app but there are still some numbers not supported ( like DWP) I avoided calling these numbers from my mobile .
It was only after reading your post, I logged into my online account and it does clearly say includes All 08 numbers, voicemail etc.
Very grateful, thank you0 -
r we saying all 08 including 0800, 0845 and 0870 ??0
