Finally managed to set up my flexicodes account and have my £10 amazon voucher from VO. Thanks for the help on here on how to do it Djelhi-Bhelli
You're very welcome! Lovely to hear that it all went to plan!
Just done an online grocery shop with Mr T's as I had £2.50 worth of vouchers to use for fruit and veggies that I was buying anyway. Went through Topcashback to try and use their "£10 off £50-spend code" but it wouldn't take, so rang Mr T's and they said that the code was no longer valid  even though it clearly shows as being valid until 29th June. Still, they mailed me a £5-off voucher by way of compensation, which I also used, so that gives me a useful £7.50 total saving off the billNOV 2014 £151.74/£150 ... DEC 2014 £303.81/300 ... EON credited my £133 this morning and one of my Gumtree buyers has been to pick up the massage table. That was £40. So £173 to add to my total.
Hopefully will have another £100 to add to that later.0 -
Had £49 in Ebay sales over weekend, not too shabby. Had a potential gumtree sale, cancelled at the last minute- without letting me know, grrr- but got a really dodgy feeling from the text messages. My brother in law has spotted a man loitering around my house twice in the last couple of days, told him to clear off the second time, wondering if they're related now. Very scary to think that, going to re-think selling on Gumtree I think.
Just joined JPJ, any hints and tips for it? Seems like a few of you do very well on there.0 -
Clarabella23, thats what worried me. I made sure that when I arranged pick up that I mentioned my partner would be home. At least it might put off any unscrupulous characters if they know some one else is home.
Still a bit wary of tonights pick up but at least thats the last one.0 -

Well i managed to do the car boot this evening even though i was quite sore - thanks for all the get better wishes
- a day or two and i will be ok im sure! I wish i hadn't bothered really as i came home with £23 and £10 of that belongs to the lovely man! He gave me a few things to sell for him as he was working and i got the prices mixed up and sold something worth £20 for £5
:o at least he laughed! He will probably not take the £10 off me but i don't want to bank on it lol!
I am going to sort some job lots for the weekend - ebay and car boots - not tried any job lots at the bootie before but figured its worth a try.
Re people collecting things from home - be really careful - a friend of mine phoned me earlier while i was at bootie and said she had advertised something on gumtree and the person that turned up to buy seemed really shifty and asked to use her loo while there. 2 days later she got burgled and the police told her this is getting more and more common - . It might be worth arranging to meet somewhere public or get them to ring when they get to the end of the street etc then go and meet them. The police said not to let anyone you don't know into the house when coming to buy something! Sorry to put the wind up anyone but thought it was important to pass on! xxxDebt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go
