There's a thrift store? I never knew THAT! I MUST FIND IT!
I only get to Mildenhall about once every three months, I use Alconbury on a weekly basis, unfortunatly no thrift store, as you say the books are brand new, sometimes in wrapper still, always in really good clean condition.

Not on the base, it is on a business park on the edge of town. I can't for the life of me think what the name is but it is on

    I've been Money Tipped!
Just had a email saying my £40 refund from Royal Mail has been processed along with £5 compensation. I'm adding both of these as I offered free postage so i keep the full refund.

Lots of ebaying done today too!

Ow I know where you are, that's where the furniture stores are and the electricals. But if it's not actually on base I don't see a reason why you can't go. I don't think I have been asked to see my pass when going in that area, I could be wrong....check that out.

Just a point on this that you may be unaware of. Mr T registers you as a new account (allowing you to sue the £15 off £60) every new email address you use for a delivery. You can use the same payment card. I've had at least 50 deliveries this way (two in the same night once which was funny with the driver :o:o).

This is a far better saving than the delivery saver. HTH :A

Lol yes I've already got about 12 email addresses registered with them ;p so I have saved money that way but unfortunately where I live I only ever get one of about three delivery drivers in the past four years I've lived there and they recognise me now! I don't mind paying the £18 for it tbh, I've earned it back in three weeks and still have it for another two months. Plus I'm saving my scouts money by getting it delivered free to our campsite (and saving me lots of time and room!)

I was just looking to book a flight and went through quidco. with direct flights you get 5p every time you look at a flight and you can use it up to 5 times in a week.
Not much I know but no real effort either.

  • Evening...just checking in...I had a pretty good day...an ebay sale £4.99, a £50 baby photography job and then a quick punt on a £2 scratchcard saw me win 9 times! (another £40) so in all I am up to a lovely £102.06 (not too shabby for just two days in the challenge...) if only everyday was like this ;)

Nice to see everyones totals are sneaking up too :)

Last time I did this challenge I noticed that this totaliser tally went up but my purse was still always empty... so now I am making a point of every penny saved or earned gets put straight into my new building society account {so that I can see a real money saving total building up}. I was frustrated to see over £1000 in quidco cashback last year but as it all merged into my current account it kind of vanished on groceries and fuel :( I really want to buy a house and need to save hard so now I have a way... My bank balance looks healthier now already :j

    Lets make it huge ;)

    Good luck everyone x
    Make £/day March: £1490.85 / £310

I have my quidco set so that it does not pay out unless I have £50 so I only get a payment around every 8/9 months, go into setting, and you will find it in there somewhere.
I have quidco, tcb, amazon money, also my mystery shop accounts are all going into an isa account every month rather than my current account. That way I can keep it seperate
