Blackcircles.com value choice

Decided to pay an extra £60 and get a branded tyre rather than blackcircles value choice. Got the Michelin Energy E3B's fitted using blackcircles.com. The tyres and service seemed good with the fitter suggesting which tyres were best changed (even though I had a different idea at first) and after fitting a new tyre to a wheel and putting it on the balancing machine, offered to swap it for another tyre on another wheel as the wheel was slightly buckled (which he demonstrated on the balancing machine). He said I probably wouldn't notice with it on the back axle, but as he offered I thought I would agree. There was no extra charge for this service.

Only problem is I am not sure they renewed the valves, based on the external appearance of the valves.

Good choice on Michelin & helpful fitter,it seems.

More than likely valves were changed - it's a safety precation & profit earner for the garage.

Usually charge £5 or so for 'valve & balance' & only cost pennies in real terms. It would have taken the fitter longer to mess about to let all the air out, by unscrewing the old valve rather than ripping it out & fitting new.
