No recording but was advised at start of call that calls are recorded for training purposes and he constantly repeated that I should cancel on 29th Oct, 31 days prior to the 6 month end if I don't want the price hike to what will be aprox £60 based on todays prices.

I do wonder if being the last day of the month had anything to do with getting free tv as not heard of that before, heard of 75% off but not free...thinking they were desperate to hit targets

Sky needs to fight to keep customers as there is more choice available now

If they think you are a valued customer, they will phone up/send letters trying to get you to stay, but stay the course and cancel.
