can you tell when navy gets dirty? :rotfl:
You can tell when it gets baked beans all down it, or when it gets yellow paint all over it ... At least you can on a black blazer! :rotfl:

Could you buy the plain polo shirts and get a local company to add the logo on for you. I'm not au fait with the processes they use, but I understand they scan them, making a computer image and then this is either printed/embroidered onto the item. Unsure of prices of these but could you buy different sizes of polo shirts/sweatshirts for when your DS grows and get them all done at once.

DH came home very proud of himself cos he'd bought DS some polo shirts. They were royal blue not navy:rolleyes: DH thought they were ok cos navy cos "navy comes in lots of different shades"

Anyway I have re-read the uniform description and it doesn't say the tops have to be completely plain (it said that about the bottoms) and I have seen navy polo shirts in a closing down sports shop that had a small logo on them. I didn't check the price as I didn't think they were suitable. The info from the school also gives the option of red polo shirts and I have found some ex supermarket stock in an independant shop in town selling for the bargain price of £1 for a pack of two. :money: . So I picked up a couple of packs of these.

LOL. I've actually accussed DH about being undiagnosed with colour blindness cos of the colours he claims certain things are, when they aren't. I didn't realise it was a man thing.

Next time he goes to the optician, they can test quite easily. They did it for DS3 when he was quite small, but he's fine. DH is green / blue colourblind. "It's green." "No, it's blue." "That looks green." "I tell you it's blue!"

Cheers Sue, I didn't realise that. He only went last week though so I'll have a while to go before he is back, and I'll have to go with him otherwise he will refuse to ask cos according to him he isn't. . Just like he's got nothing wrong with his hearing either, even though I can hear better than him and I have got a hearing impediment.
