Yeah, I saw that :) That's why I'm now wondering if I'll get purple instead after seeing that photo on the right! :)

I had personalised ones made with our wedding date on the heel, in white and purple for me and black and purple for the OH. I thought I should have something to change into in case my feet started hurting and OH never wears anything other than trainers usually!

We were so caught up in the day though, that we completely forgot to change into them after our ceremony abroad but they were a god send at the reception in the UK when my feet started hurting! I got loads of complements on them too, I had a short dress so they were visible :)

Congrats on your recent wedding sk00bie1! :D Las Vegas eh? I love Vegas, been there 4 times now. Where did you get married at?

Your Converse sound cool! The ones I am getting have diamant! on the toes, I opted not to get it on the back strip too, and personalised ribbons.

Thanks Georgiegirl! We got married at the Bellagio :)

Your diamante Converse sound awesome too! I love sparkles, if I'd seen those I might not have been able to decide which to get!

Ours came from the Converse site where you can pick the colours, down to the colour of the stripes on the rubber and of the metal bits on the lace holes, I think there were 15+ different things to personalise! They even have a funky skull print fabric that I just had to fit in somewhere :rotfl:

Oooo the Bellagio is stunning! We stayed in The Aladdin Hotel (now Planet Hollywood) opposite, and our room looked right out onto the Fountains! They were amazing!!

I thought about going to the Converse website itself, but when I tried on my iPad I couldn't get the customised page up as it doesn't have flash, and I thought that they would take too long (isn't it about 6 weeks?), so I just browsed on eBay and found the diamonte ones. I love the sound of that funky skull material though....do you have any photos? Would love to see them!

I wore white converse to walk down the MASSIVE hill to the ceremony. My bridesmaid but crystals on the toes in white and blue and they looked great.

I then changed into them for the dancing after the meal. Everyone loved them and said it was a very me thing to do.

Not doubting myself, will definitely be wearing them, was just curious as to what other people thought. I love it when brides (and grooms!), go for something different and was just curious what others peoples views were and if anyone else was going for alternative footwear fom the norm. :)

I got told by the MIL that she 'would not allow me' to wear trainers under my dress! Don't get me wrong, she is lovely, but I think she wants her son to be marrying a girlie girl, bit late for that...this one don't do heels unless she wants to! I love the idea of converse, do what you like, I might do it anyway. :p It's about being true to yourself, I think they will look awesome in photos too. You have this bride's support! :D

Thanks suzitiger! :D I'm currently still debating on wether or not to go for cream or for white? I have finally decided on my dress at last, it's ivory, so I'm thinking more the cream, as the white probably won't be as good a match.

My MIL to be is the same, she was like "you're joking right?" She should know me by now, as much as I love my handbags and make up, I'm not really what I would consider a girly girl either.

    When do you get married?
