The reason you changed could have implications on advice. Is there a reason you can't claim income support?

had to stop claiming I.S and SMI when partner moved in a few years ago due to her wage coming in to household etc.........just so mixed up with all the benefit stuff at the moment was looking for some reassurance re what help i may get if any....forewarned and all that??

just a massive worry on top of continued ill health....but appreciate any positive help and suggestions

Have you put your details into the turntous website i gave you the link to in my post # 4?

Or is there any chance you can get an appointment with your local CAB to ask for advice?

Is there any equity in the house? If so, do you know if your partner is entitled to a share of it (the equity may have been built up before she moved in)? Have you informed the mortgage company she is leaving? Lots of questions, and I suggest you go to CAB for some detailed advice.
